New York? Seems to me that you are being judgmental and type-casting with this remark. Is it appropriate or are you putting yourself in the category of the woman doing the pointing and yelling?

If you are pointing fingers .... should you criticize those who are pointing fingers?

Must of been the same woman who scolded me for loading my groceries on the belt before she had completed her check out last year at Sam’s, way before the corona virus was heard of. People behind me in line were surprised as well.

I believe that’s Aldi’s policy is you cannot put your items on the belt till the other person is done, I presume the reason being so no one gets close to one another. Too bad this woman spoke so harshly towards you; some people have no class.

In WalMart Grocery at Colony, the workers were courteously putting everyone in a long line (like a bank teller's) and then guiding the next person to the free cashier (with 4 lanes open) as soon as the previous customer was totally done with groceries on the conveyor belt. It moved fairly quickly and worked pretty well. Just took a bit longer since one couldn't be "getting ready" ahead of time....

Just thank your lucky stars you don’t have to live with her. Probably some poor guy does.

You will be seeing a lot more violence as time goes on. From mask wearers and those that do not wear masks. Remember outside the bubble lives are being destroyed. A security guard was shot dead yesterday over not wearing a mask.

I apologized and picked my stuff back up again, no big deal.

As for wearing your mask "wrong" well - wearing a mask isn't required at Aldi's, so it really doesn't matter if you were wearing it correctly or not, there.
I don't shop at Aldi's so I didn't know the order separators have been removed. Having said that, is the entire belt sanitized between every customer? If not, why bother taking away the separators. It only slows down the process of checking out which prolongs the time a customer is in the store.

Hey, think about this, at least you're not her. Can you imagine how awful her life must be!

Another Covid Nazi - there are a few out there. That must have been upsetting to have been talked to in that way. Don't let that steel your joy - feel sorry for this lady because it must be awful for her on a daily basis. How unhappy she must be. Also - you never know what someone may be going through at that time.

Sounds like another arbitrary rule...like the one way aisles.
