My cloth mask doesn’t protect me very much. It does protect you from asymptomatic me pretty well. Please wear yours for those around you. Thanks!

Add over 100 million covid survivors with immunity to your 150 million vaccinated. Now subtract 50 million from our population of kids under 12 who currently can't get vaccine.

There were none on the 7th. or 8th either on the chart.
Probably because the numbers are entered weekly to get a seven day average.
Next update 16th.

I don't look for a political reason, and this is all I will say on the subject. The Delta variant sought out the path of least resistance, the unvaccinated, and as the numbers grew, it started infecting the vaccinated. The vaccinated can now also pass on the Delta variant, but the vaccinated don't get as sick and, yes, a very, very few vaccinated people die. Those who caught Covid last year, probably don't have immunity any longer, especially to the Delta variant.

By the way, estimated population of the US is 330 plus million. Enjoy your day.

Let me ask you, the UNVACCINATED - did you allow your child to be vaccinated for:

Diphtheria
Rubella
Measles
mumps
Polio
Tetanus
Whooping Cough

You must have trusted science then, so how is this different?
One difference is that the vaccines you mentioned have gone through clinical trials and are FDA approved. The Covid-19 vaccines are not FDA approved and we are all participating in the Clinical Trials. I am vaccinated and will continue to lead my active lifestyle. If I was as fearful of the virus as some seem to be, I would stay in my house until this latest round passed. We all have choices.

The data from Israel, which is very recent, shows that covid immunity of survivors is stronger than those vaccinated.

Your fortunate. I have had two different friends in the Villages who got it and are no longer enjoying their lives..RIP.

There are 74 million children under age 18 in the US. Over 71 million Americans have had the virus. Check my math if you wish but I think that comes to around 145 million count so far. That pretty much accounts for the 150 million not vaccinated.
Of the folks most vulnerable to the virus (65+) 85% of Floridians have been vaccinated.
Time to quit the panic and CHILL.

No one can tell you how to live your life(as long as it's legal) !! If you choose to do things that put you at risk, so be it. There is no reason you can't do the things you enjoy being safe. Outdoors in non crowded areas, don't wear a mask, but indoors , wear one. I spent this past year in my Long Island school wearing a mask all day except for my lunch break. If the kids can do it, so can you. I work with students with disabilities and autism and they managed well wearing their masks. Now I will have to do it again for this year. I was in my home in TV these last past weeks for the summer and I did feel like the virus never existed. I also went maskless. It took a day or two to get used to it. Now that I'm back home and the hype of this new variant, I will wear my mask in crowded places and indoor.

No one is banning the wearing of masks. If you think that a mask will ward off the dreaded Covid monster, then go for it. Personally, I don't put much stock in these cheap masks, but I do have a military gas mask that I can wear if things get serious. I also have a mask that I used for stripping lead paint off old furniture that is rated above the 95 level. I don't wear a mask unless I am entering a medical facility. My choice. Everyone should do what they believe makes them happy and safe. I feel safe right now. I've had no one drop dead around me from the virus, even though I have been around plenty of folks that said they have had the virus and survived. I do not wear a mask for my safety. I wear a mask only so that others will have that warm and fuzzy feeling IF I need to go somewhere that requires a mask.

And to all those that have posted "it's experimental" or it "isn't FDA approved", I'll repeat what I've been posting for a month---that final FDA approval is merely a bureaucratic process. So yesterday, on channel 9 news, for the first time, they reported that "Final FDA approval is merely a paper process mired down in bureaucratic red tape" So much for that excuse, I'll bet the anti-vaxxers who have been using that one now migrate to the "unknown long term effects" excuse.

This “ movement” to badmouth these vaccines.....

Is it ANTI vaccine or ANTI United States Government ?

Hard to tell where one begins and/or ends.

I think it's more 'PRO-one certain individual,' who happens to actually be vaccinated - so go figure THAT one out. lol
