Could it be that snowbirds are arriving and buying basic supplies?
Seems that T P gets easy notice.

I think it was worry about the storm. People were stocking up on supplies. The shelves are fine in other parts of Florida.

Kilm. I wonder if it’s negotiable in the price. Instead of furniture included TP included 🤣

Uh - it was Hurricane Etta, we were expecting a pretty nasty storm coming at the edge of that. Shelves were mostly stocked up yesterday just fine at Publix. There HAVE been some empty spots ever since the initial Pandemic closings in March/April - they were never back up to full. But now they're pretty much the same as they usually are when you're expecting a huge storm the next day.

Not a big deal. Maybe they're empty of the brand YOU prefer - so pick a different brand. There's plenty available.

Gladly we didn't see any of that strain here in The Villages' stores, not that I noticed, anyway. Seems to me the shelves have been completely stocked at all times for several months...............until now.

No, not my intent at all to cause a slight panic; just stating the facts of what I saw. Let me give you a percentage of the empty shelves......90% empty. That to me is "nearly empty".

So....just wondering why empty shelves again?
Despite the expiration date that your toilet paper company lists on the packaging of your toilet paper, the product lasts for much longer than you may expect. As long as you don't get the toilet paper wet or allow dust and dirt to get into the packaging of your toilet paper, the product can last years or even decades.

Maybe it's worth while hanging onto the much maligned phone books.
Just in case!

Increases the value of the home if included.

It's been quite a while since a few scabs got shot driving during a strike. I hope there are no incidents if this goes through.

Are you sure you didn't have too much Taco Bell for dinner and was dreaming of being without TP? Maybe I'm just blind or maybe you're projecting.

Trailwinds Publix had almost empty shelves for paper towels, napkins
and toilet paper. Ridiculous.

Default No TP at Sam's Club

Not that I would consider it a disaster, but I was surprised that there was no TP at Sam's Club earlier this week.
