It's weird that America has more inmates than any other country in the world, by a large margin at that.

The last I read there were 10 millions unfilled jobs in this country ranging from minimum wage positions to doctors, and high pay executives yet we continue to pay unemployment benefits. Too many people don't want to work and that's a problem from coast to coast. That prison will never be at 100%.

Besides, those still working extra shifts are making a ton of money. Most government employees love the overtime and only complain about their taxes.

Overtime is great, but usually they will deny time off because of staffing shortages.
