What we need
maybe a jitney service running up and down morse and buena vista, connecting us to lake sumter landing and spanish springs and some of the shopping center..maybe also along 466?
I'm all in favor of this - it would get some of the traffic off the roads and help those who now find it hard driving for themselves - plus help we residents get rid of our visitors for a few hours without having to chauffeur them :-) |

Whole Foods
I need a place like "Whole Foods", organic, lots of bulk bins, reasonably priced, chair massages, weekend cooking demos, great bakery, great deli, tables to sit at after picking up a healthy yum yum to chat with friends about world issues while sipping away from a recycled coffee cup. You really feel good after leaving a place like that!

For those of you who posted in this thread wanting:
1. A family owned restaurant 2. A NY deli/diner style restaurant 3. A place to get Gyros 4. A restaurant that serves Greek food The new Athens NY style Diner that just opened up next to Katie Belles might just be the answer. If it’s as good as the majority of reviews here for their Mt. Dora location it should become quite popular with TV residents. And here’s a link to their menu. |

And as soon as the new Athens New York goes belly up - a proven winner for that location: White Castle.
A link to their menu: http://www.whitecastle.com/ .

Can we all write to Traders Joe to consider establishing a new branch here?
If you absolutely must speak with someone at the Trader Joe's corporate office you can call them at 626-599-3700 (customer service is extension 3035). Why? The nearest ones are all in Georgia - none in FLORIDA!!! |

Several have contacted Trader Joe's in the past begging for a store here. No go. No plans to open one in Florida, either. Sure wish they would. I miss my weekly jaunt to that store. (Course, I'm saving a lot of money by not having one here.)
