Huh? I don't read the Sun very often but believed that the Sun didn't post negative information like this as indicated by a few posters on this forum! Oh well, I guess I need to learn to take what I read with a grain of salt more often!

That is because it will be posted in a few days. I am guessing that the sheriff's office release things after the reports are filed. These thefts happened Monday and this is Thursday. It will be posted..in a few days. It comes from the sheriff's office info.

Maybe they didn't put it in the paper. After all..it is a paper that is just to sell houses. (This was meant as sarcasm, I very much like our Daily Sun)
I often wonder why they have columns from other developments nearby to tell what Stonecrest is doing etc. And also have pictures and stories sometimes about interesting things in other developments. I sure can't figure out those Republican Morses. It doesn't look like they are afraid of the competition. I have to think when people have a beef about the Sun that the politics gets under their skin. It is an alright little rag for a town of our size if you ask me. I am satisfied.

Compared to the local paper from where I am from, theDaily Sun is a very well writen and has a lot of information. In a lot of areas when something happens on a Saturday or a Sunday it does not make the paper. Apparently the reporters take the weekend off. As a disclaimer, I do not and have never worked for the Daily Sun. I just like the paper. Z

You KNOW I like The Daily Sun. I was just using a little negative psychology. I get so tired of the harping on that paper. I grew up with The Columbus Dispatch and then grew older with The Cincinnati Enquirer. I am used to a paper that had a Republican Editorial section. I think people from the coasts aren't used to that.

The Daily Sun does grab stories from associated press to 'fill out' their 2 to 3 pages of condensed news. The staff only writes about the villages events. Of course they include articles from some surrounding retirement communities, they want you to see how much better you have it here with all the facilities. I'm not saying that the paper stinks, you just have to realize what it is. I won't even get into the columns all written by extremely biased republican columnists. |

The Daily Fun is also delivered to Water Oaks and other communities outside TV. We also like that they have NY Newsday crossword puzzle.

I have to wonder how many folks on this site have lived in a small town!! I have lived in both a metro area and a small town and have to say that The Sun does a great job! The metro papers don't have the "folksy" pieces AND that's all the small town ones do! The small town we moved here from had a weekly paper and it was pathetic, even with the "local news"!!! The Sun seems to me, to have some of everything....and of course it's advertising in a sense, this great community we live in! I wonder, if it's such a "bad place" why people live here and the place continues to grow!!
