Yes, once upon a time I not only made them during my bartender days and I also drank my share of them in my mis-spent youth.

The squares serve Old Fashions. A bit pricey but worth it.

Buy a pump. It removes the oxygen out of your bottle and seals. Your wine will be even better. I am a future villager here who owns a winery. We use pumps on all our wines.

Bacardi and Diet Coke or Bud Light Beer for me. The lady enjoys Baileys.

In many blinded taste tests I've come to the conclusion I don't have a very sophisticated palate so it's Hamm's for beer, Owl Merlot for wine (from Aldi), and LTD for whiskey. Our alcohol expenditures are ridiculously low.

My recent trend is lemon water all day and a couple small glasses of red wine in the afternoon. But I have enjoyed many a beer in the past.

Water or tea during the day, then once it's 4pm-ish, we'll typically drink rum & diet (for me) or bourbon & diet (for hubby) for a Happy Hour drink. Sometimes a different mixed drink as the mood strikes.

We also typically split a bottle of wine with dinner - anything from a $3 buck chuck or box wine through a $300+ bottle, depending on occasion, where we are, what we're in the mood for, or what we have on hand. I rate wines as a hobby on the Vivino app, so I tend to drink a lot of different ones, but I typically prefer Napa Valley Cabernets - like manaboutown, one of my favorites is Stag's Leap. We also buy cases of wines from NakedWines.com and I've found a couple extremely reasonably priced gems from there.

Occasionally we'll also have a small glass of sherry or port before bed.

Yeah, we drink too much.

Most often, San Pellegrino Popelmo [grapefruit] soda and vodka. It’s the only flavor of San Pellegrino that isn’t terrible, but it is an excellent mixer, though hard to find. Last night, Amaro di Toscana [a bitter herbal aperitif made in Tuscany] and Fever Tree Aromatic Tonic Water. (I love the bitter liquors like Campari and Aperol, Green Chartreuse and Benedictine.) If it’s a whiskey night, I prefer Evan Williams to more expensive brands because it is very sour, which I like mixed with Gosling’s Diet Ginger Beer. For sipping, try Ensign Red Mango flavored Canadian whiskey over crushed ice. It’s like drinking a perfectly ripe mango. Often I drink Not Your Father’s Root Beer, which tastes exactly like a very good root beer but has more alcohol than many beers.

Water, red wine, Mexican beer or vodka neat. Water because I never drink soda (Coke, Pepsi etc). Red wine because I like Merlot or Cab. Mexican beer because I only drink beer out of bottles, never cans, and I like that Mexican beers don't have screw caps...and I like Mexican beer. Vodka neat, with 3 olives, preferably Titos. I can't see diluting vodka with ice cubes and I've never liked mixed drinks.

I'm from Texas, Jose Quervo Gold, I mix it with 7 up, and Smirnoff vodka mixed with Spicy hot V 8, makes a pretty good Bolldy Mary.
