Bingo! In fact I just moved from my manufactured home into one of the beautiful new cottage homes that they are building.

There are approximately 4,000 homes on this side and they will eventually all be replaced.

Besides that, "build out" is a myth. Why would they ever stop building if there is a demand for the product?

The only thing that will stop the Villages from Building more homes is the Gulf of Mexico. I wonder when the new development will start up in the Pan handle of Florida? I do not see why this will ever end as long as there are people willing to buy. They pretty much have this thing down pat on auto pilot. It can't be a money thing any more. They have more then they could ever spend in 10 lifetimes. I think they just like building things.

One can not just turn all this farm and ranch land into houses. People need to eat. And don't say buy at the supermarket, the farms are what supply the supermarkets. The population that can retire is dwindling, all this build out is doing is suppressing resale prices. So you want to pave paradise and put in a parking lot?

How long would it take to go to Disney at 20MPH?

Unless they go to another part of Florida and start anew--that's the rumor I heard.

I suggest that you take a ride in a small aircraft at about 3,000 feet some day. You might be amazed at how much open land there is in this country.

The idea that we could ever take up all of the open farmland and forest area in this country is absurd.

Many people don't know that the entire population of the U.S. could live in the state of Texas. Not that anyone wants that or it would ever some to that, but there are countries in the world that have that kind of population density and the people still survive.
