Not a single roundabout south of Sawgrass. I would count them if one was there.

I think I wrote BETWEEN BROWNWOOD AND CITRUS GROVE. The last one is at St. Catherines just northwest of Sawgrass, none south of there.

You know, that's the seat where YOU make all the decisions on how to handle dynamic, actively evolving and deadly situations that occur in seconds AND have to live with the suits that sit down in mahogany lined offices and spend hours pulling apart and critiquing each second that transpired and how YOU handled it - or didn't handle it.

Commercial is over, NCIS is back on, better hurry back to the living room.
Just a note here---FL does not have a State Police Dept. FL has a Highway Patrol. FL also has the FDLE - FL Department of Law Enforcement, that handles major crimes and assists municipal PD's. That's why they are called Highway Patrol Troopers, not Florida State Troopers. Did that clear things up?

Hope it helps but been here so long now I've learned it is always so short lived it has no effect. HOWEVER, some effort is better than the NO EFFORT we've watched for years as more wanna-be Daytona drivers realize they are senior citizens now, so they find some way to get their carts to exceed the villages limit and put everyone, including themselves, in danger. It just has to stop, let's hope the police will continue to help.

Yes ! Better late than the usual NEVER. Perhaps they'll even find time to at least stop the 60mph trucks and service vans on the Buena Vista speedway track ?

Wrong again, the last roundabout going south is the entrance to Sawgrass that includes the Bexely Trail Bridge road.

I would like that safety rules board to show one more thing..
Slower carts and Bicyclists PLEASE pull off onto the side or shoulder and let the normal speed people pass. The frustration of the line of carts behind the turtles is palpable and THAT is what causes unsafe passing.
Get yourselves over and be polite.

Exactly!! That is correct. Which means, AS I STATED, that there are 8 roundabouts between Brownwood and Citrus Grove on Meggison. This really isn't rocket science.

OK, that's a fair statement. Upon review, the joke was a bit obtuse. But it did stir the pot for a while

they're doing exactly what they like to do best at this stage of their lives. It is a shame because 95% of the time they all provide invaluable information for all of us to benefit by, so here it goes.

By far, around here, we have more people killed and injured by speeding golf carts than people getting shot. We need to have more enforcement of speeding by golf cart laws. Where are you going anyway in such a hurry? Slow down you are retired...........

Exactly. The number of shootings and armed robberies in the Villages is getting out of hand. šŸ˜‰

Of course not. But the point is that I’d rather prevent one shooting than 1,000 golf carts going 20.1 mph

Default Commissioner

Well I hope everyone slept well.

The whole commissioner statement Was A Joke.

Most understood it was a joke.
A few did not.

Take a deep breath.

Reality is, this is a public social board.....full of jokes, fake news, exaggerations, opinions, fiction with a few facts blended in for fun.

For all posts, readers need to use their brains.

Breathe people, breathe.
