Ever eat at the milk street cafe in the Regency in the old port in Portland - My Son is the Exec. Chef there for the Regency Hotel.
As to villages we got hooked last Dec when we came down for a try-out week - was down there a couple of weeks ago for our design meetings -- went very smoothly - had a Melissa Stanford as our designer - that gal knows her stuff - she was amazing -- I can honestly say I enjoyed the meetings that I thought I would dread. will be back down to stay on the 3rd of Sept. - I am orginally from a small town called Richmond, Me - taught in Waterville for 28yrs - Richmond is north north east of Portland. on Kennebec River.

I wasn't far from there. Island Falls. Not much to do.

You know you're getting way out there when the road signs don't have the names of towns on them. Just things like R8-D6.

Yup, Milk Street is wonderful place, good for your son, nice career. I was with Dunfey/Omni Hotels for few years, great business and excellent training for customer service.

We lived in Winthrop from 1998 to 2012. My office was in Augusta so I went through Manchester often. I had an interesting flight one time where I was in Manchester, England but my final stop was Manchester, NH, and I eventually ended very close to Manchester, ME. It caused quite a stir in Manchester, England at the ticket counter. Fortunately, I arrived at the proper destination.

we were in Manchester in 98 and 99 -- left from there to go to Aiken, SC - we were right in the village of Manchester..about two blocks from P.O. - Ingraham Street we were at that time next to last house on the right -- very large ranch with circular drive way -- do not remember number. - like the booking of flight in Manchester, England - must have had them going in circles.

Nancy and I bought our home in Tamarind Grove in Nov 2011. We are from Bucksport where I worked at local paper mill for 39 years. Nan was a chemical health councilor at high school. She has been there year round, I'm still working part time in a different mill in Maine and travelling. Hope to be full time Villager sometime 2014. Sounds like Maine is well represented here.

We have been in Maine for 30 + years. My husband created 4 Nursing Homes in Maine and opened the 1st hospice there. We live near Portland in the summer and in Belle Aire in the winter. Life is good!
