There is an Olde Time Pottery in Ocoee, Fl. Down the turnpike right before Orlando.

You can find everything you need here in TV. There are many big box stores on 441.

Make a list and buy everything you need, in one trip!

When we bought our rental- we furnished with good furniture- Southern Lifestyles (gone now), Babbette's (Leesburg)...stuff like plates/towels/sheets/kitchen stuff all came from Walmart/Target/Bealle's. Had the same 3 sets of renters for 6 years--they loved my previous home! You don't have to spend a ton--just the extra stuff is nice.
I always replaced toilet brush cleaners between tenants, provided tissue boxes, new sink mats each tenant--stuff like that will make your home stand out.....I shopped and set up my own home in 3 days!! Including all new furniture, curtains, pictures....It was so much fun! I loved it!

Huh. I wonder if there's a business idea in that? Do any property management companies offer to oversee/coordinate furnishing a house?

When I purchased a brand new furnished villa, I had to buy all the kitchen utensils, linens and other household products. Rather than waste time shopping when I arrived at my new home a month later, I shopped online at Walmart and had everything shipped to The Villages Walmart. All I had to do was pick up all my things in one trip. As you are online, it's easy to see all of the things you need and as you think of more stuff, you simply go back online and continue ordering. Good luck on your new home.

Home Goods at winter garden. Fl Turnpike towards airport, about 45 min. Great store for furnishing home. I got a 4 page "list" from the management co years ago when I furnished my rental. Ladder, grill, plus all kitchen items. Odd lots ok for some things, not small appliances.
