Welcome to Buttonwood. We also sold our home in S.Fla. (Boynton Beach) and have been here since May.

Hi Shrimpy - when you bought in May in Buttonwood, was the developer at all negotiable on the price?

Default Welcome to Buttonwood!!!

I moved to Buttonwood in July and am very pleased with the area. We have men and women's golf leagues, a men's sobtball team is forming. There is a new crafts group at Fishhawk. It is a happening place. What will your address be. I wonder if you will be near us.

Where in Buttonwood are you going to be. We close in December on Dorst Lane and also are from Connecticut, Danbury to be specific. What part of the state are you from?

We'll be part-timers for at least a year.

They are not negotiable on new homes. No need to be, because if you don't buy it somebody else will be right behind you that will. The Villages is different than the rest of the country because it's booming here.

We just finished a Lilly in Buttonwood. It's on Claverton just at the start of the circle part of the cul-de-sac. We stretched both the front and the back and added a golf cart and a bird cage. We plan to be down for a week in Dec and then down after the first of the year for a longer stay. Once we sell our MI house we plan to become frogs. We look forward to meeting you.

Your wife is a smart woman. Buttonwood is a great area. I think (know) you guys would fit right in.

Tom - She IS a real smart cookie. But some question her intellect re: another major topic............she married me waaaaaay back when!

Actually, we found a resale house in Duval that suits us perfectly. We're in the process of getting everything in order for the closing that's set for mid-Dec. So we're kinda-sorta gonna be in the same neck of the woods! She really liked the Pennecamp and Buttonwood villages but absolutely fell in love with this villa we found in Duval. Has EVERYTHING that was on her wish list so it was a 'done deal' in short order.

We're still going to be snowflaking for a few more years til she bails out from her work. Then we'll be able to at least make it down to TV for the complete winters!
