We look forward to starting the next chapter and meeting all our new neighbors in TV!

Thanks for brightening my days with your posts, pics and updates!

Hi Rona, Bill and cutiepie - ups, we mean 'Barney',

We have less than 2 weeks to go before we jump on the plane and are really looking forward to meeting all you folks

You certainly could do with cheering up after what you have had to suffer with 'Sandy' and we will be doing our very best to be part of the cheering up process team

Could it be the Designer series is going the way of the Villas and Cottages? What you see is what you buy? I sent rep an e.mail this am asking what is going on with the release, no news yet! We were interested in seeing some of the lots on Bluebeard Ct but think we are sticking with Hackberry and just get it done and down there! Of course, still praying for a buyer here , but... life is to short, but I still drink some cheap wines!!!

Default Do we need hurrican insurance?

My husband, Jay, and I have waited almost 4 yrs to finally sell our home in IL and we will be moving to the Village of Charlotte in 2 weeks. Can't wait.

Now we are getting to the last parts of the closing and they are asking if we want hurricane and title insurance. Anyone have any input about this?

Thank you so much, ) Judy

Thank you !! It's nice to know we have options on who's yard we can pitch our tent in. The tent does have a Lanai so it will come down to whoever has a west facing orientation. As for the food, we'll probably just rip up the turf, dig a hole in the sand, and do our normal "Whole Pig Roast" thing. If you bring the Corona, I'll give you a hind quarter.

Rusty, do you have room along with A-4's tent for a shiny Airstream trailer?

I was going to an RV park but sounds like more fun there in your little commune?

A-4: Roasting a whole pig? Further evidence you need to be with us in Gilchrist! The motto at 2999 Amherst Way: There's nothing like pork at the end of my fork!

Speaking of "Pork on the end of your Fork", have you all been to Oakwood Smokehouse and Grill over on 27/441 for their ribs. OMG GOOD . . . and you don't have to dig them out of a hole in your neighbors lawn.

You guys are just too funny! Yep-gonna love my neighborhood!
Don't despair A-4 you can pitch your tent at Rusty's and cook at my place. I have that nice outdoor kitchen just waiting for you course, you may have to cook for me as well... The grill is not particularly my domain. But I'll have Corona at the ready! And you can bathe in the pool-sans soap of course.
I do feel your frustration however regarding 210. Perhaps the powers that be could contact Ms Parr? Is that the right name? Can't recall. Someone should have an answer somewhere. Well, they do, but they're just not saying. I did look at the map today and there are some nice sized lots in 214 and 215. Did you check those out? I hope you find some satisfaction soon. It's been a rough wait.

Hey Batman! Here's the picture of your formerly vacant corner. I think it's changed just a tad since you've seen it!!!

Default Twins Interior

Hi Everyone! You've got completed interior studs and the wiring looks to be almost complete. The electrician was still working when I got home at about 4:00. You've also got two huge piles of drywall in the livingroom and MBR. You guys are doing great!

Default What Progress!!!

Hi Andy, Wendy & Millie! You guys have come such a long way. The interior is painted and the trim carpenters were finishing up the trim late this afternoon. Your floor tile is complete and they're working on the tile in the bath off of the lanai. You also have kitchen cabinets. The light wasn't so good so they appear darker than in real life. You're looking good here!

Default Calc's Castle

You guys are getting so close! The initial painting is done and the trim is down. All of the floor tile is done and the workers were finishing up on the summer kitchen. And....drum roll....you've got cabinets. The kitchen is really nice and the countertops have already been installed. The birdcage is finished and YOU HAVE CONSTRUCTION STARTING NEXT DOOR!!!!. You can see your neighbors foundation forms in the last pic. Oh yea, your outside fixtures have also been installed. Great things getting ready to happen at this house!!!

Just happened to turn on the computer and wanted to pay some bills--decided to see if there were any pics first--so much better to see these instead of writing checks Can't want to see what comes next! Carol will be down in 2 weeks--put her to work and let her help you out
