Hi Both,
That looks really good, there look a lot of room at the back beyond the birdcage if you want to go out further for Cathy's pool!

We agree our research in the build idea was not wasted time, that learning curve will be applied here now. It just harder to do things with the walls already up.

We moved the sold sign this morning, having just finished moving about 10 days ago into storage in NY means it all needs to get packed again in 3 weeks....oh fun.

yes the landscaping will take some thought. Several months ago I hooked up with a licensed landscape architect to do all the planning etc,
he'll have a lot more to work with here he has really nice portfolio.
We want to do something outside the box....time will tell.

Yes I have the room, about 20-30' to the street. Not sure if I have any $$$ left...

I think a pool will wait till the fall, just the spa because I already have it.

Unlike Jimbo, you have a few days to get over the New Year before closing

Where is your new home?
We stayed in Fernandina, moved from Allaire Loop in unit 206 to Niblick Court in unit 205. Corner lot on a cul de sac with 5 houses. We are at 28 days and counting!

Is anyone planning a get together this week? Steve and I are down until the 17th and would love to meet some of our potential neighbors.

Default Gilly Grog

Well folks, the first batch of Gilly Grog is in the fermenter. I don't have high hopes for it due to my inexperience and some technical problems during the process. If it even starts to ferment we'll proceed and see what happens. I understand that the male part of Junction29 has volunteered to sample the first product since he is the one that got this whole thing started!!!

We agree. This was our first meeting with our new neighbors. Hope for many more. We had a great time meeting all of you. We are back home in Illinois and look forward to being back by Feb 1. Our closing is Feb 20. It is amazing. You all have a wonderful Christmas.
