Hi Trish & Steve,
There were 6 of us from Gilchrist there from 8pm tonight.

Really sorry we missed you and that is a good idea about the hostess table, although we didn't have a meal, just a few drinks and we were sat in the 'lounge' area.

Hopefully we will see you guys at the next 'gathering'

We missed you all and did not know it! Wednesday?

Ok guys, tomorrow is the design appointment! We spent the morning with our rep and made some some decisions, put more money in the financials and cannot wait!

Met our next door neighbor yesterday, nice nice, and a beautiful home! Are you ready for this coincidence . .. She's a quilter... We could get into trouble!

Cannot wait til March!

We will be cruising the neighborhood for a few days ... Hope to meet you.

back to the cyber world of TOTV! Happy to hear your closing and move went well. That's a lot of hard work to get the house in order by next Friday. You must be a really efficient person! Cheerio.

We were in the outside lounge area...did you notice the two people that looked like super models? Ordering $100 bottles of champagne and then dancing like Fred and Ginger?...that wasn't us. Hope to catch you all next time!

Good luck with the design, it is a hectic couple of days

Yes, after living in TN you should know that it's stills that blow up. The worst thing that can happen here is to have a lot of blow off from the fermentation or a bottle blow up due to over priming with sugar. Geez, I hope that doesn't happen. If it does then the Gilly Grogg will be banned to some undisclosed location outside of the house...lol.

On the other hand, I was afraid that I had killed the yeast by putting it in the wort while the wort was too hot but it's bubbling away and that means it fermenting. Heaven only know what Andy's gonna have to try in a few weeks.

I am so sorry for being confused about the meet & greet! You see, things go straight to pieces when our social coordinator (Terry) leaves!!! I sincerely apologize for my confusion and missed company. I promise that I will try to be better in the future.

I'm willing to try it again on 12/12 @ 8:00 if anyone wants to do it or I'll see everyone at Carol's on Friday (if I get an invitation)...lol

Good luck.... Had our design last week with Pam Sherwood. She was great. TV are a well oiled machine even with the design. They really make it as easy as possible even with enough decisions to make ones head explode. Enjoy.... It's an unforgettable experience and kind of like a rite of passage to becoming an official Villager!

Now as for the Wednesday get together....am I going to have to fly down there and get another one planned?........well, OK....this Ohio weather stinks!

Where Wednesday and what time?

We will be carrying a rolled-up copy of the London Times and carrying a Red Carnation, it worked when we first met the WV's so we will try it again.

If James Bond can get away with it, i don't see why we can't?

Teryl1949, as social secretary, can't you still organise meets if we promise faithfully to say how well it went?

You never know it might dispel the Ohio - missing TV blues!

I am starting to get a bit nervous about this upcoming tasting!

Probably need to increase my Corona intake to give my stomach a bit of a beer proof lining.
