A warm welcome rkschneid - you are sure to have a great time in the neighbourhood.

Send A4 a PM and get on the local spread sheet, that way you will be included in any invitations

Congratulations on your closing, if we had known we could have had a Close-eration!!

Blewed it up? Blewed it up?

Thats a bit extreme for a block that was just sitting there minding it's own business:

A very big welcome. We look forward to meeting yet another wonderful member of Gilchrist. Once you are here you will not want to leave! We have just arrived and move into our home on Feb 20. Please visit when you come. Gayle

LOL. That's what happens when one tries to type on the iPhone, instead if the iPad after a 9 hour drive. Or maybe I was confused by the picture of a-4s blob. Kinda looked like a mouse to me.

I've been a Directv user since moving from the NE simple because they are the only ones who have the NFL package. (Fortunately do not need the package any longer) They do have an excellent picture so I will stay with them.

I signed up for Comcast for internet because they have higher speed than anyone else. I stream lots of video. (don't tell anyone but I stream Met and Jet games live) They are much more expensive than anyone else also....But they do have a reasonable rate the first year.

Are you saying Brighthouse is $120 and for the same package Dish/Directv is half that, $60? Or do you mean those satellite companies are $240?

I have DTV in Chicago for 72 per month, no Internet or phone included.
Here I have Brighthouse cable and phone (no internet as I have a MiFi) for 90 bucks approx. It it 200 plus channels (many HD) and unlimited phone including Canada and Puerto Rico, not that I call there! If you add Internet it is 110 per month.

Default Catastophe hits A4 Build

Dear Gillylanders.

Another catastrophe has hit the A4 build project.

A large length of roofing timber has been discovered and like the earlier 'Block', none of the workers on site know where it is supposed to go?

a4-spare-spar-jpg

His Worship the Mayor has (we think) decided to launch the Faults, Lapses and Problems Solutions Sub-Committee (FLAPS) again, Chaired by Jimbo2012, with A4 as the Secratary, to see if a solution can be found as to what to do with the 'Spare Spar'.

Readers may remember that they resolved the 'Block' problem by blowing it up, apparantly a very common solution in West Virginia.

This build for A4 is now reaching the volumn of problems found on ChiefRose's and Kitty's builds spotted a few mornings ago after an in depth analysis of the plans by the Pre-dawn Early Risers Committee (PERC's) and now the A4 build will be the subject of the FLAPS committees early focus instead.
