A4: Ed and I should be there for 2 days starting on the 27th...just bringing down a truck load of stuff from VA while I'm on winter break. Would LOVE to meet face-to-face.

Or, maybe that week, instead of the "usual" Wednesday night happy hour we could do Thursday night or Friday night.

Okay everyone, here's your long awaited pics. The house is beautiful!!! The cabinets are installed along with the tile floor and most of the electric. There are some loose wires on the kitchen island but your carpet was laid today. It won't be long for you guys!

Just saw Kitty's post about New Years. We will be arriving in TV on Monday the 31st around 1:00 pm. We would love to host but I am still recovering from my ankle surgery therefore, don't feel we could commit this year. That would mean Rich would have to be both the set up and clean up comittee Last year we went with several others to the Colony Rec Center, where they provided a band, noise makers and champagne at midnight. it was BYOB and appetizers. Was wondering if someone there now could find out if perhaps Captiva might be doing something similar? If not, perhaps we could all meet up at the Evan's Prairie watering hole? Just some ideas for those that will be there for New Years. We would also like to meet with those which are going to be there and we will only be down for a week this time. Linda and Rich

Just saw on another thread that Evan's Prairie does have a band playing called " Three for the Road" beginning at 7:00pm on New Years Eve. No particulars are listed on their website such as reservations accepted, dinner required, events, etc. Might be a good option?

We are closing on 12/28/12 and moving to our new home on Hollyhock Way on 01/14/13. We originally were building an Iris on Ridgewood Path but traded and purchased a finished Lantana that matched our likes and needs therefore skipping design, building, waiting, etc. Look forward to meeting neighbors in Fernandina and Gilchrist in a few weeks. To anyone here New Years Eve,
I just called Evans Prairie, they do have the band, Three for the Road, from 7-11 pm, when they close. It is their regular menu and they may have a couple dinner specials, but that is it. Who closes at 11:00PM on New Years?

Who is going to be in TV for New Years, and is anyone interested in getting together or have plans already been made? Thanks.
