That is my first name which I only use for official business. I have always gone by Lee since my teens. Long story which I will share with you over a few Coronas some day.

Great pictures of the Gilly Celebration! Thanks for posting. It was a great time and fun to have some new faces as well

Thanks Carol for all the pics you send to us and others. We all owe you a lot for keeping us in the process.

Can someone tell me how close the sprinkler heads are installed to the outside walls of the house? I am considering installing a 2 or 3 foot border around our home (under construction) to keep the area dry and free of plants.

They are right there, but U can move them easy, only 6-8" deep.

I met Teryl for the first time today. Nice guy but I doubt I'll be invited back. Someone in the street told me he was inside the house sitting in a borrowed patio chair watching 6 guys paint the inside of the house. So I ring the doorbell, go inside, and tell him I am with the Villages Painting department and wanted to see his painting permits and I was looking for a missing lawn chair. His eyes got as big as saucers until I started laughing. Like I said, I don't think I'll get invited back.

P.S. . . . . Good luck with your appliance delivery tomorrow Teryl

It was a glorious day in The Villages today. For those of you stuck in the frozen tundra, we all wish you would have been with us to enjoy it. The Gilchrist pool was full of people from Gilchrist and Fernandina and other places, and all the pools and outdoor venues were busy, busy, busy.

On the bright side, it was great to finally meet Teryl and see the Bishop's castle. Can't wait for Terry to get here, too.

Lee and Cion got grass today, A-4 has pretty stucco and a great house, Kitty's pool was getting screening, and as always lots of little worker bees doing all kinds of work and lots of houses.

Life is good.

Oh, and what wonderful people we shared a picnic table with last night at Brownwood. How could I have overlooked the great company and the bluegrass music. It was a spectacular evening! LOL

Sprinkler heads are approx 1 foot from the house. Plantings within 2 feet. You will have to have them moved, but it should be fairly easy. I have a landscaper (Brandon's Landscaping) who can do that for you, build a wall, etc... I was exceptionally happy with their work and highly recommend!
