And depending on the location they pick for their home it might be Lady Lake Elementary on Rolling Acres? No? I would think that is where kids from Spring Arbor would go since that is Lake County, I believe.
I do not think its bias,Wildwood and the charter villages schools are miles apart. If you had your choice where would you attend? I have been to the Wildwood schools for some events, big difference.Yes they could attend Lady Lake but neither of us know that do we.

I am looking forward to building a clientele of you wonderful people! I'm so excited, to learn, ( Thanks again, to everyone that responded to my questions.) That its all possible! My husband Paul, I, have been to the villages twice, since 2001, visiting friends, and were doing a preview this winter. Remember my name, when you need cosmetology services next year! Ill be around.
Hi Donna,
Welcome to TOTV! As others have said, please check to be sure at which, if any, local salons you could work to quality your child to attend the Charter School.

That said, I hope it all works out for you!

Thank you for the wealth of information. Now I can spend my limited time there wisely I will need to check everything carefully. The sales Rep. told me, that my employment at the beauty school. would qualify our daughter for the charter school. I'm going to check out nice surrounding areas. I dont like the idea of being bound to a job, because our livelihoods depend on it. I just know, that I love love the villages. Its the nicest place I've ever seen. I was raised in Marion city schools. Its horrible, I would NEVER send my kids there! Mine attend county school. I'm more particular than most. That's why I'm asking all of the questions, and appreciate all of your help. I want the very best for my God given perfect daughter.

My point was that Lady Lake would (probably) be better so maybe the poster could keep that in mind when making a home choice. I don't even think the other 'family' sites mentioned are Wildwood. Two of them I would think are in Oxford with the one I mentioned in Lake County I would think. The main thing this forum is good for is research for wannabes. Perhaps someone more in the know might have a clue which school district each family area belongs to.

I would hate for you to apply to the Charter school and be told that your daughter was not eligible. As well-meaning as your sales rep is, he/she does not have the final word on eligibility. Please take a few minutes to contact the Charter school directly to confirm eligibility in your specific situation. Also, I don't know if there is a waiting list, and the "lower categories" of eligibility still may not be able to attend if enrollment is already full. Those are good questions to ask them.
