Hi Ronda,

And congratulations!

I have not smoked since I was 5 years old. That's another story. Turned green. (Really did.) Puked. Even tried to try again when I went away to school. But I never could.

But I know that you will win this thing. And you will be amazed at what happens then.

Here is how I know:

Someone very near and very dear to me had smoked since early teenage years. In his 40's he developed a strangling cough. It was bad. He was scared. Me, too.

And so he quit the Camels and the Lucky Strikes.

Cold Turkey.

He never smoked again. After all those years. Of a lot of smoking.

And he made it to within sniffing distance of his 90th birthday. Lots of great years in between.

And if he were here with me right now, he would surely say, "Rock on, Ronda."

Boomer

Ronda,

just another thing I admire about you.

I hated that you couldn't stay the other night at Carrabas.

Your granddaughter will benefit too, by your example.

I can't tell you how strong I think you are. I remember how jittery I was and how often I would look for them not thinking. I started up again for a very short time when I was diagnosed with cancer, HOW stupid is that! But I quit again shortly. I think I thought at the time that I was a goner. Here I am now. JUST being so happy for you. JUST think of all the money you can spend on your self too. YOU go girl.

You continue to inspire me on my new low carb diet. I keep saying: If Ronda can do it I can do it, If Ronda can do it, I can do it..................

But, today I am really hungry and am growly. grrrrrrrrr!

GG, Nonie, EVERYONE!! Thanks for all the congrats! 3 weeks tonight and still doing great. Sure I have had my moments when I wanted a cig, but reminded myself how long I have gone without. I am proud of myself as I have tried this before, without success......Zyban helps enormously!

Ronda, girl!!! I'm so proud of you. I bet your skin is glowing too. Remember, it works wonders to get all those poisons out of your system. Congrats!!!!
