Past actions by Anonymous have shown that they do not always wear the "white" hats. They pull the trigger on inflammatory issues before all of the facts are available. They even posted on the web the identity of the policeman who shot Brown. That was after they even posted the wrong name.

This is one instance where the enemy of my enemy is NOT my friend. Anonymous has questionable ethics as well as the KKK.

It is going to be horrible. And we can do nothing about it. Even if the officer is proved clearly to be defending himself, there is going to be awful demonstrations and even deaths. Some people WANT to fight.

The KKK has diminished over the years to a very small number.(Thank God) It has no clout but it has a horrible history.

I think this thread is about some extreme ideas that most of us don't understand.

But, I I think Al Sharpton is on the other extreme. Hating is never gonna solve the race issue.

Speaking of Al.........interesting:
Mr. Sharpton has regularly sidestepped the sorts of obligations most people see as inevitable, like taxes, rent and other bills. Records reviewed by The New York Times show more than $4.5 million in current state and federal tax liens against him and his for-profit businesses.

Are you serious? What do you think Law Enforcement/National Guard (which, btw, the NG is going to be armed this time) is going to do when protestors show up armed? Kick back and let them have their way? The KKK will the least of anyone's worry when this firestorm happens.

I hope law abiding citizens this time exercise their 2nd amendment right this time to arm and protect themselves.

Are you saying the protestors don't have second amendment rights to arm and protect themselves?

Based on the Wikipedia write up and other comments on this thread I am not sure I care for either of this organizations?
it.
While I understand the rights associated with the right to protest, I prefer the rule of law and believe far too many people have moved away from

Considering the fact that the crime rate in Ferguson is 28% higher than the national average, it is very likely that most of the protesters do not still have the right to own a gun.

Actually I was looking for more general thoughts on what is justifiable if a group that is anonymous (small a) claims to be threatened with violence by another group that is anonymous i.e. the KKK in this instance.
I think some posters feel the perceived threat should countered with a like threat i.e. get armed. In this particular instance the group claiming to be threatened is using the internet in retaliation.

If I understand it correctly, the hacking group Anonymous has not been threatened. They are taking issue with the KKK threatening the protesters. The protesters are not affiliated with Anonymous. Actually, Anonymous is a non-entity with no leadership. No one can threaten an entity that is invisible.

In reality there is no reason for Anonymous to be involved in this issue, but that is what they do; insert themselves into potentially volatile issues without invitation.

Members of Anonymous have been involved in the Ferguson protests and they claim that these members were threatened by the KKK. That is the justification they are using for their internet attacks.

Reluctantly I have to agree. There is no law against being a moron, but freedom of speech is a constitutional right.

NO! Not if they cannot legally own a firearm. If they have enough sense (which most of the % of them do not have) to take a CCW class and pass all of the training and test - go for it. BTW, if they have a felony conviction, that will weed out the greater % of people legally able to carry a weapon. Seems to me then that the only protestors carrying weapons will be doing so illegally.

Seriously, do you want armed violent protestors going up against the Police and National Guard? I am very Pro Law Enforcement and even I don't want to see that happen.

Kind of silly, when you think about it. If they are "anonymous" then how could they be threatened?

This is a partial list of groups that are KNOWN to be there for sure just waiting their turn to destroy and shout hate. This list does not include the signs refering to ISIS.

REVOLUTIONARY COMMUNIST PARTY:
ANARCHIST CELLS: The exact number of anarchists in Ferguson is unknown, but they have been a distinct presence during the nightly protests
NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF COLORED PEOPLE:
NATION OF ISLAM:
NEW BLACK PANTHERS & BLACK LAWYERS FOR JUSTICE:
ANONYMOUS:
TIBETAN MONKS:
JEWISH VOICE FOR PEACE

From Anarchists to Tibetan Monks, Here Are Some of the Outsiders Joining Protests in Ferguson | Mother Jones

We should be proud.....a guy robs a convenience store, attacks a cop, and is shot dead and look what it brings.

Yep, they all have the right to speak......and the world watches as another american small town is destroyed....just think of the reason for this destruction....again....a guy robs a convenience store, attacks a cop, and is shot dead and look what it brings.

I saw a poster suggest that folks should be able to arm themselves to fight the KKK, which for some reason did not make this list but I assume they are there. Based on wanting to arm folks as posted, what a great place for a gun show !!!
