Didn't intend it to be. I mean that just wrong to compare the Morse family (yes, I know about the hunting issues) to what Vick did. He just wants to stir it up. If you don't like the weirdo comment then use what you want.

Well, in political we were brought to the wood shed for getting disrespectful to fellow posters. We were told to stay on topic. Just saying, nothing personal.

Good grief! I hate, loathe, despise what Rainey is accused of doing. Morse and family more than likely broke some laws (not as severe as Rainey's from what I can tell). What Rainey and Morse, et al. did pales in comparison to what Michael Vick did. His actions were despicable.

Now I'm going to get a few (??) people upset. Vick did his time. From the sound of what has been said about him by those who are in the best position to know (animal right advocates and associations), he has truly repented. As a matter of fact, the SPCA has said that the best advocates against animal abuse are those who had previously abused and seen the light so to speak. The SPCA feels Vick is a prime example of a former abuser turning himself around. They feel Vick would never again deliberately abuse an animal. Vick has given large sums of money to various animal shelters and the SPCA. He has spoken almost weekly at schools denouncing dog fighting and animal abuse.

So, add to his willingness to admit his previous behavior was wrong; his continued speaking to kids about how wrong his actions were (not that easy to do -- try it one day); his giving very large sums to animal protection; and his truly God-given talent, I say he has every right to continue his career and be the outstanding quarterback he is.

Do I agree that he deserves the sum of money he is getting? No, but, then I can't think of a single big-name athlete or actor or other public figure who deserves the obscene amount of money he/she/they make.

I think this is the first time I have agreed with you. Except I think Tom Brady earns every cent he makes.

Default thank you

someone who actually took the time to see what michael vick has done in the last 2 yrs with his life instead of just running off at the mouth

but like someone said. this is just like a salem witch hunt . weather you agree with the law or not . it is the law & neither you nor i have the right to tell anyone they can or cannot have a job just because you don't like him is very small of you. each of us must grow up in our own way

I don't know you and you don't know me and I'm glad that you're not in my camp. Hell, I don't even have a camp unless you call freedom of speech a camp.
The Morse family members that committed the crime are no better or worse than Vick. They are accused of chopping off the heads of wild animals for a trophy to hang on display somewhere. How do we even know if the animals were alive while their heads were being severed. Does it make it OK or less disgusting because they are/were wild animals instead of cute pit bulls? Maybe I am trying to stir things up as you stated in one of your posts, so what? It may get warm blood flowing in some of the posters making cold blooded remarks. It got your blood flowing, didn't it?

BTW, if it was the other way around and I called you a "weirdo" I would have been hung out on the line to dry by the TOTV flash mob. But like I said, I don't know you so your name calling doesn't hurt me in the least.
Sticks and stones will hurt my bones but names will never hurt me. So there!
