It is okay to disagree with him, but to directly attack him or anyone for that matter that you don't know because they say something you don't like even though it is not directed toward you is a line that should never be crossed. cashman crosses this line consistently. taller trees has in the political forum, so I guess it is no surprise s/he does it here. As to l2rd, he has a right to his opinion, no matter how misguided it is.

Personally, I could not imagine Tiger ever cheating on the golf course -- even if he were the only person on the course. That is something that has been ingrained in him from brith. Military brats really and truly are taught a pretty high moral ground. Do we stray from it? Yup, but not in the honor department. As strange as it sounds, cheating on your wife is not considered dishonorable to many (immoral, maybe, but not dishonorable). Lying about it is actually the "right" thing to do to keep from embarassing your wife. Sadly, I've seen this mentality many times both as a child and as an adult, especially with those in uniform.

So, while I may not like what Tiger did, I don't think it takes away from his integrity on the golf course.

Golf is not my game, never has been, never will be. Even so, he's a great talent and that should not be denigrated nor denied. Be mad at him. Be disappointed. Refuse to watch him or support his sponsors. That is your choice. Me, I'll buy his sponsors' products if they fit my needs and my budget. I'll change the channel when he's playing but only because I don't like golf -- I'd rather watch grass grow.

And I will now try to sit on my fingers when it comes to Tiger.

Agree!! well put

Honestly Red, you have a wonderful way with words and great ability to present your ideas fairly. You should be a teacher! (Bet you are an English major!!) Well said Girl!
