I like thin crust pizza and this has distinctive taste for me. Course others may have different views about pizza. So, IMO only place I consider retuning to. Otherwise just buy frozen pizza with I consider best rated of frozen pizza Digiorno’s classic crust.
Stavros in Leesburg is my favorite local place.

I agree. I always get the thin crust, and add the hot honey. It's actually pretty good, the price is right, and it is a golf cart ride away from me. The 50% off full moon deal makes it a no-brainer.

And to establish my credentials - lived both in Chicagoland and NJ. I've had pizza from some of the best places in both. I appreciate Connie's deep dish, and NYC thin crust, folded slices while walking outside of Penn Station. Both have their advantages.

But I understand that down here, I'm not going to get that. But there are some good alternatives. Marco's for the money and convenience, meets that requirement.

To all of those who say "it's not NYC/Chicago"? That's nice. Move back there.

Personally, my choice of pizza is how it is cooked. Had Marcos once. Looked like it was conveyor belt pizza(not cooked on a hearth). Most, if not all, chains use this method as it is the least labor intensive and will less likely get burned or under cooked.

Most home ovens do not have the necessary heat. Worked in a pizza restaurant for two years. Need 500 degrees and a flat surface/hearth

Do you mean Piesanos in The Villages or Paisanos in Virginia and other states? Two different pizza chains.

Way better than Pisano’s, Brooklyn might be a tad better? Good pizza though.

When I was looking at houses, there was one off Morse, north of 466A, that had an awesome pizza oven in the back. Almost bought the house because of the pizza oven.

I don’t rave about it, just IMO for my tastes it better than ALL pizza joints I’ve been to in and around villages. In other words IMO they was NOT worth returning to for pizza, which why IMO I buy Digioeno’s at least I know what I am getting.

I Wonder if a pepperoni pizza from all the establishments mentioned, including Digiorno and Red Baron were lined up on a table, would any of you actually know the brand you claim to like the best?

More than likely most would guess correctly, I believe. But I would bet that most would easily identify the frozen.

A favorite memory was a sidewalk cafe in Venice, off the beaten path. A pizza and a bottle of Sangiovese for 18 Euros. How do you beat that?
You can't beat that! But it was the complete experience that made it so great. Sure, the pizza was good. But without the wine, sidewalk Cafe, the sights and sounds and romance of Venice, well, who can say? Wonderful memories!
