The Villages does share a postal zip code, 32162, with Lady Lake, but that's about it.
John N The portion of the villages that is in the city of Lady Lake is covered by City Services, I live in that portion and the city paved the streets, Trimmed trees that hung out in the road, When I had a tree that was causing a problem with the water line we had to contact the city of lady lake for a permit to cut it down, The lady lake police also patrol the streets here as well as lake county sheriffs department.

I should have been more specific. Lawn ornaments were first ruled out during the build out of District 3. Belle Aire may have been the first village with those restrictions. That would mean most of District 3 would be open to lawn ornaments giving the original poster many resales to choose from.
