Sorry, but the Aston Martin is not a very good looking car. If not for the James Bond connection I don;t think that anyone would pay any attention to it. I can't believe that the Excaliber is not on the list.

I realize that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but my eye has always been beholden to a 1958 Chevrolet Impala Convertible. I have always loved the look, but never owned one. Maybe some day when I get old and don't have anything else to spend my money on I'll get one.

I'll take one of those too!

But an all white hardtop, like Ron Howard's in American Graffiti.

I'm always interested in how some old cars end up just looking old and dated, and others turn into classics and the styling seems timeless.

If we only knew at the time they were new what they would become!

I have always liked the look of the '58 chevy more than the '57. Obviously, I am in the minority as the '57 has acheived iconic status.

Many of the most interesting old cars were not commercially successful. The Kaiser Darrin, the Rambler Ambassador, the Studebaker hawk (and all 50s studebakers including the avanti) the edsel as a few examples.
