I was just there and the self checkouts were not accepting cash. I don't know if it was too early or what but if this is the "new norm", it gives me another reason for WalMart to KMA.

People handle bills and change and who knows what is on it. For now ok with using cc for everything but when this is over back to use real money.

Well, not everyone has credit or debit cards. Crazy, I know. But it's true. Some people use cash exclusively. I have one credit card. I don't have a debit card. If I need cash, I have to either walk into my bank and withdraw it, or I can use my ATM card - which does -not- work as a debit card, at an ATM machine.

I do use cash more often than not. I don't like debt, even if I know I can pay it off in full when the bill comes.

Not being able to go in "that" line to check out of Walmart is an inconvenience. But so is not having my own personal chef, and a maid, and a driver for my car, and my own indoor climate-controlled pool and jacuzzi.

Somehow - I'll endure this minor inconvenience. Le sigh.

And if you see any actual Karens (not just people who don't comply but people who make a HUGE deal about their refusal to comply) - there's always cell phone cameras and twitter.

Who has a larger customer base than WalMart? No other retailer. This should have been done three months ago with all big box stores and any indoor store. Lives would have been saved and the coronavirus, for the most part, put to bed. Just my humble opinion.

Cost Co stopped people from entering without a mask, so all stores can do it.
It’s private property so the argument about violating rights is not applicable.

The anti-maskers, to be consistant, need to take sledge hammers to ALL the speed bumps in America and rip down ALL the speed limits signs and refuse to pay taxes. The point is that it takes some time, but what is best for ALL of society eventually WINS out. The same will happen to single payer healthcare eventually in America. It is too good to continually resist.
