HuluLive at the same price but with Disney+, ESPN+, and 4K (where available) is very competitive.

I don’t watch enough to warrant the new price. Sling has everything I need for now. I mostly watch Paramount+ and YouTube Premium.

We're still on DirecTV sat. Been on it since 1997. I know I pay more but I like the convenience. May go to streaming at some point but we're happy for now.

Expect streaming rates to continue to rise. Many of the companies are struggling to make a profit due to the cost of programming. The days of cheap streaming are slowly going away.

$10 isn’t a big deal. But $120? That’s a big deal.

I quit Hulu when they had their “only $10 a month” increase. Well, their price increase and being Disney owned.
YouTube will be getting my same cancel notice.

I have some friends that have Omni vision. Every channel imaginable for only $400 a year. Seems too good to be true. Not much info when you Google them.

There is a reason for both of those. Check this discussion from Apollo TV on whether this type of service is legal.

You can also look back at this Omnivision thread from July that you created. You felt they were too good to be true then also.

I love YTTV but am thinking of canceling. I have Peacock, Hulu and Paramount plus... so I can watch all the network shows on them. I'm really just paying to watch live TV, and that's mostly Orlando news at 6pm and ABC news at 6:30 and Jeopardy. Might be time to get an antenna and Tablo to record local shows.

Me too. I’ll try the free intro others like Tubi and Sling, before deciding. Go woke go broke, U-Tube.

It is cheaper to watch YouTube for free with an ad blocker.

This happened with Hulu Live recently too. For commercial free we’re at $95.99, so YouTube TV is actually the better deal if this price is for commercial free.

Everyone’s situation is unique to them but I chuckle to see some people squawk at paying $80-$100 a month for their TV programming but they don’t hesitate to pay someone $60-$80 a month to mow their little patch of lawn that they could do themselves in a few minutes or pay $150-$300 a month for pool service which they could do themselves in a few hours per week or pay $150+ month to someone to spray for bugs a couple times per year which they could easily do themselves in a few minutes per month. I guess everyone has their own priorities but it’ seems to be an easy numbers game and personally my own maintenance is superior to any I’ve seen done at my neighbors.

I also like that I can delete a program I recorded.
This is why we have Hulu Live still. Hubby can watch his hockey team, though rarely the whole game since his team (LA Kings) plays home games very late here due to the time difference. He watches for as long as he can stay awake.
