The bombing in Brussels emphasizes that this is foremost a European problem. You have 28 or so countries with very little coordination in combatting home grown terrorism. That mindset has to change, but historically the chances aren't good.

No, but I honestly respect, honor and appreciate the sacrifices of those who did, especially the POW's.
