While I think Obama winning the Peace prize is an embarrassment.....I find this post to be totally BS.

Destroying the American Dream??????

I suppose those who win this award have to thank George Bush....

"In 2002 the prize went to Jimmy Carter as an explicit rejection of the Bush presidency in the build-up to the Iraq war. In 2005 Mohamed ElBaradei, the UN atomic agency chief who had clashed with Washington over the search for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, was honoured. In 2007 Al Gore received the prize for his warnings on climate change, denounced by President Bush as a liberal myth. "

Default Correction.

I changed my mind. Obama has not yet taken away the American Dream because we have a chance in 2010 to get some people out of power who along with Obama will destroy everything that is the American Dream.

Default Congratulations!

First, I want to congratulate President Obama on receiving the Noble Peace Prize. He does, indeed, raise hope around the world that we can somehow live on this planet together.

And second, I want to congratulate the ring-wingers for, yet again, turning something positive for America into something negative.

Sigh....

Quote of the day from Today's WSJ

"Obama is now the clear front runner for the Oscar for Best Actor, and head and shoulders above any other candidates for the Heisman Trophy this year."

Default This seems to be more about the Bush Presidencies than the Obama one.

The Nobel Committee sure does not like President George W. Bush from the looks of this and other recent Nobel Peace Prize winners.

WOW...you are even more bias about this man than those you criticize !

He has DONE nothing....even the left wing and Democrats are embarassed by this. It is an anti Bush award and a way to try and influence USA policy, PERIOD !

I have totally opposed to this Presidents domestic agenda....100% opposed but as I have said I have an open mind on how he will handle foreign affairs...thus far he has followed all of Bush's ACTIONS..not his words now, but his ACTIONS and I will surely support him as long as the interests of this country is put first...he IS the President of the USA and not the WORLD !!

Default That's what happens when the standard for "who"

gets lowered to allow more candidates. Just exactly what is it he supposedly did to get the award. Make great speeches that got him elected? Apologized around the world for what America did? Does?
What a disconnect with reality.

I don't care what his race or religion or party.....he did not do anything of significance tha is going to change the world. Unless one counts leaving thr door ajar for our adversaries.

I am very happy that our President, President Obama, won the Nobel Peace prize. As Americans, we should be proud that our President was picked among many qualified contestants. Why don't Americans respect the office of the Presidency and be proud that our President is the recipient of an enviable prize? A prize that sends a message to the world that our American President is seen as someone who is an advocate of peace in the world; and, one who will work toward that goal, however unattainable it has become. God Bless the Peacemakers.....
