The idea was stupid people took a course to make money.

After they leaned everything they found they were still too stupid to make money.

Biz minded people do it on their own.

So now they decide to sue someone who is very litigious with top lawyers, so still stupid.

Remember not all sued, the law firm for the defendants was not a top firm.

Results- Trump still made money, students perhaps learned something????

Defendants lawyers made the most out of the deal

Yep "the art of the deal"

Trump worships Putin and quickly realized that his fake university, is simply chump change in what he can now do as POTUS...just as Putin has done.

Trump sees himself as an Oligarch that can use the influence of his office to increase his personal wealth substantially.

He didn't want to testify (where he would have to lie) and then take the chance those lies might shorten his term and therefore not give him as much time to "make deals" for the benefit of he and his family.

The saddest part of course, are those that don't have a problem with Trump being an Oligarch and will constantly make excuses for him...when he violates the very principles of this great country.

Not so ridiculous at all.

Just a bit of reading of the history of the players being assembled sort of gives you pause...Trump, Putin, Flynn, Bannon all have certain very common denominator.

I do not, at this point subscribe totally, but it is not out of play in anyway.

Yep, they are all leaders. Something that eluded Obama.

I am not a lawyer, but your post indicates you have not read much about this case and WHY the suits.

"Following the release, earlier this week, of testimony filed in a federal lawsuit against Trump University, the United States is facing a high-stakes social-science experiment. Will one of the world’s leading democracies elect as its President a businessman who founded operated a for-profit learning annex that some of its own employees regarded as a giant ripoff, and that the highest legal officer in New York State has described as a classic bait-and-switch scheme?"

The man made the right decision. If you read the background on this scam, he could testify, lie and face perjury, or settle.

Again, you folks believe what he says, without checking and he depends on that blindness

Incredibly, President-Elect Trump will have a $25,000,000 tax write off for 2016. Sounds like a win win outcome for all concerned. Maybe, not so much if you invested $35,000 of your retirement money in a non accredited "University".
Hmmmmm

"That’s many times more than the seven-figure total settlement that was being considered back when everyone assumed he wouldn’t get elected, a source apprised of the negotiations told the Post"

Isn't it a shame that Hillary won't be able to "settle" on her felonies? If she pleas guilty, maybe they will only give her a few years. Her millions ain't going to get her out of this bind.

What is the obsession with Clinton ?

Race is over and not sure when or where this plea to something or other might be, but isn't it time to talk about Trump leadership, governing, etc.

Two questions: what bind is that and what does Hillary have to do with Trump University? To plead guilty to something, you have to be charged with a crime.

We'll see if Trump follows through with his promise to appoint a special prosecutor. Threatening your opponent in any way is grounds for impeachment. This was included in the articles of impeachment filed against Richard M Nixon.

B.S. Threatening justice is not grounds for impeachment, dummy.

Oh, did Trump threaten his opponent? And you do know that he can't be impeached until he is president and only for those crimes committed WHILE in office. Or maybe you didn't know that.
