If you don't get any satisfaction from the installer, I believe you can remove the bolt holding the two ends in the center and then remove the plastic sleeve from the belts. This might let the belt ends fall down under the seat whenever you raise it, but they will be flexible that way.

Yes...there are 2 sides to every story...however...this is Thursday and still no reply. I finally took the plastic sleeves off...it took some doing because the nut and bolt was not easy to get to. With the sleeves on you had to maneuver the belts up out of the way (and since it was hard plastic it was difficult...they didn't bend) to raise the seat up to put gas in the cart and then try to get them out of the way to lower the seat.
This could have been all resolved if I had gotten a phone....anyway I am done and have seats belts I hopefully will like. |

We are allowed to express our opinions and talk about things we may not be happy with, such as how seatbelts were installed in the golf cart. Maybe someone else will not use that company because of the OP's concerns. It makes the forum a good source of information for all. And companies DO monitor this forum to judge how their customer service is going. |

The pictures look like a fine job. $125. Seems more than fare for that set up. He came to your location, furnished the material and did the labor for a buck and a quarter.
