Some helpful information here.
Ordering lithium carts and will ask the dealer to install 12 volt connection under front seat suitable for 15 amps. I’ll add my BMW power outlets on the front of the seat support.

As for dash USB outlet use, I only expect to power a QuadLock cellphone mount, also from motorcycle days. RAM Mount and charging magnetic QuadLock. With Car Play I won’t need to add a GPS.

No loud audio nor too-bright LED lights in front.

RL....really not needed here. This cold spell is unusual for here. Usually, only a couple of days. But, you will find out for yourself.

This morning it’s 32 degrees. First thing one will notice, this is the land of shorts on golf course. Heading out this morning 32 out of 36 will be carting to the course in Shorts, Golf shirt and golf jacket.

Default Perfect for golfing

The vest uses only 45 watts, the jacket 60 watts.

Anyone else tried this?
Great idea. It would be perfect for golfing early in the morning! Let us know how it works out for you.

I’ve got a heated jacket for my Adventure bike and it’s a little different when on a bike as I have gloves with grip warmers, a heated seat and a nice toasty warm helmet as well. Just get a Sunbrella enclosure and roll it down when it’s cold and don’t even think about not getting one otherwise I’d like to see pictures of you out this Summer in the thunder storms 😂

Or jus a $50 LPGas heater to keep both riders warm.

I also own quite a bit of cold weather gear, it's packed up and stored in the attic,..., deep in the attic 😆

May need an inverter? Why just buy enclosed cart like atomic that has heat and air?

I have some sheepskin seat covers from my old Streetrod cart. I set them over the seat which keeps my butt warm. I also park the cart in the sun w/the sides down for a few minutes. Warms the inside of the cart.

At 20-24 mph, with a full windscreen, a relatively light down (or synthetic) jacket, will be comfortable. Eddie Bauer is a good source. You might add a hat. I have a down vest that easily stuffs into pickleball bag (or golf bag) that I use often. The full jacket is good below 40F - where pickleballs get fragile and break often. It also stuffs small enough.

The golf courses will close if it drops to 32F to protect the turf.

I have only used the zipped covers twice in two years of nearly daily use when caught out in heavy rain.

The down will keep you warm when you are untethered!

It is also cheaper than any of the modifications that you mentioned.

Just my opinion ,sounds a nice thing if the generator can support the extra drain a dead batery would be a bigger problem than the chill.

I had outlets installed after a thoughtful friend gave me an electric blanket for the golf cart. Works well.
