I'm not sure how y'all give us those direct links....last time I tried I was told that it was not allowed. So, you will have to google it or give up the secret to those great links which are soo helpful. Thanks,

The book looks like it addresses the time prior to menopause "It Me or My Hormones?: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly about PMS, Perimenopause, and all the Crazy Things that Occur with Hormone Imbalance".
Does it address issues beyond menopause?

I have had a lifestyle change in my eating habits for several years now.

Eating several small meals a day to keep from getting hungry and execising will help you to lose weight. I had lost 35 lbs from doing this and I recommend a decent breakfast, as that jump starts your metabolism.

In addition, lifting weights is helpful as you burn calories after you finished lifting. Cardio-vascular workout stops burning calories the second you get off the treadmill.

It's not easy and I wish you sucess.

As many others have stated in earlier posts, losing weight by dieting is different for everyone. I am a runner and I tried a high-protein, low-carb diet and couldn't do it. I had little to no energy. After about 2 miles I was dragging. I wish you luck in your quest to lose the weight. Everyone knows it's difficult and it gets harder and harder as we age. I remember when I was a high school cheerleader, I could consume an entire Sara Lee cake and still stay slim. Now it is much harder and I just keep pounding the pavement and hope to keep healthy.
