Luckily it was a calm night. I slept NOTHING but great. My division is in mop up and our lines held yesterday. So I just need to keep my head in the game one more day.

Good job, boss!

NOTHING will be happy to have you back. Then maybe we all won't need to talk to ourselves but probably still will anyway.

Abby10 09-04-2018 01:02 PM

So is NOTHING going on today or too much something? I dragged myself to the gym and then ran a few errands but that's about it for me today. I'll be lucky if I still have enough energy to get anything done around the house, although it seriously needs some attention. Too many outings over the weekend have me worn out.

I just very well may do NOTHING else today and better yet maybe I'll squeeze a nap in. How about you? Maybe Nucky is continuing his car search today?

The gym?! I went to the gym for awhile in seventy-something. It was NOTHING but a pain. Then I stopped, and look at me! Never again!

fw102807 09-04-2018 01:27 PM

I really hate people who love to exercise. I have to drag myself to do it and sometimes I need my husband to push me because I know that if I don't keep doing it I will soon become unable to do anything. I agree that it is NOTHING but a pain figuratively and literally.

tomwed 09-04-2018 02:54 PM

I recently discovered I can no longer walk and chew gum at the same time so I guess I'll need to give up one or the other. There's nothing in my rule book that says I can't give up both but I think that would be a bit drastic.

So what do you think I should give up? chewing gum or walking
[walking does come in handy so I'm leaning that way]

Leaning too much is also a new problem so if I give up walking that does solve the leaning problem.

I have never been able to walk and chew gum so I do not chew gum. If you give up walking you will have to give up golf also since I know you mentioned that you do not have a cart and like to walk the course. Since you also like to ride your bike though maybe you could invent another form of golf using your bike, like polo golf. NOTHING to think about.

tomwed 09-04-2018 03:10 PM

1 for gum 0 for walking 0 for do nothing

The 2 of you missed the part of my post where I said I "dragged" myself and that wasn't just because I was tired. I NOTHING but loathe having to exercise so you don't have to hate me - lol. I only do it because I know I have to do it to keep myself healthy and to be able to keep moving. Never loved it. I used to think my husband loved it because he's been a gym rat since he was a young teen. Here, come to find out he doesn't really enjoy it either. It's definitely a discipline for us, not an event we look forward to doing. If we were anywhere near the same level we could probably go together, but the times we have gone together I had to pack a book and read for the last hour while he finishes up. I'm lucky if I make it through the first hour. :faint:

I'm in for walking. NOTHING doing with gum.

Car dealerships are NOTHING but the devil's workshop. I know they are there to make money but not all from one person. Taking a car BRAKE for a couple of days. Brake is a tomwedism. They all place handball against the curb. :boom:

Forget the gum - it can lead to TMJ and tooth decay if it's not sugar-free. But walking can lead to tripping and falling or walking into walls and injuring yourself. So on that note, maybe doing NOTHING is best.

Maybe you just need some back-up to buy your car. You know, like my son and my former boss (both Italians, of course) who took a trip to Italy and wanted a refund on one night in Venice. My son saw that my boss was not making headway in his request so he motioned for him to step aside as he proceeded to go up to the concierge and tell him, "This could be the beginning of a very good day or a very bad day...." Next thing you know the manager comes out, refunds their additional night, and tells them to go on and have a nice day. :ohdear: Of course, it probably was a result of them seeing a scuffle outside of the hotel the night before and as the manager came out to apologize for that happening in front of them, my son tells him, "Oh that's NOTHING. In Philadelphia someone would have been shot."

I've never leased a car so this question is NOTHING but curiosity. If you have always leased why do you want to stop now?

Is it really possible? Could you have really forgotten your NOTHING? Well, I'm NOTHING but shocked. I'm going to blame it on you missing the Kommander, if for no other reason than to soften the blow.....lol

You're right! Just talking about exercise throws you off your NOTHING. I think you must be allergic to it.

Since we have averaged about 4000 miles a year not counting going north I figured buying the last car now would be a good move and just pay with no pesky car payment. Or a very low payment.

Wish I wasn't a big chicken and could just buy something used but I just can't. NOTHING doing. I have a process and the pain I'm receiving now will pay off. I just didn't find the correct victim, I mean dealer yet. It's sorta fun in a way.

Sounds like you are looking for an excuse to stop walking but I think you should just rename your shoes to New and Balance and have NOTHING to worry about.

Here's my idea. Call your auto insurance agent. Maybe you have one down here and one up there. Tell him you are shopping for a car. Do you have any advice? Do you have any advice for finding a new car online at a great price. You have nothing to loose. I found my car online, at a great price and negotiated using email. Then I had it delivered for free. When I arrived in TV all I had was a bike after I returned the Penske Truck.

Kenswing 09-04-2018 09:18 PM

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Your body is NOTHING but a mechanical device. You only get so many miles. Why waste them at the gym? I’m saving mine for vacation.

Kenswing 09-04-2018 09:20 PM

It’s finally over. All I have to do is go through the demob process in the morning and I’m NOTHING but outahere

Sleep well, friend. Glad you have nothing to worry about. When you move down here I have just enough room in my back yard for a pup tent. You and the Missus, can sleep in the pup tent and in the morning I will make you coffee, home fries and your choice of omelette. Then you go home and I'll do all the demobbing.

We can NOTHING but alternate days. I have room for a tent but it better be in the front because I think Wiley Coyote prowls the backyard at night. The kitchen is open, I don't know how to cook, coffee is about all I'm good at. :ohdear:

Happy for you.

Guess who fell asleep with their NOTHING on - yep, I guess it was finally my turn! Sorry to have missed you coming back for the day but when I woke up in the middle of the night I did check in to be sure you got home safely. After all, that's what mothers do - lol.

So today's the day! It's Wednesday, September 5th, and you are finally on your way home with one hour less to drive than the last time - NOTHING but good news. I'll be at work all day but hopefully checking in if I can. Wishing you NOTHING but a safe trip home and hope that Mrs K has the couch all warmed up for you and ready for you to take over - :).

Have a great day, everyone!

Says the man who works 8+ hours a day putting out fires. That is like going to the gym 10 times over. You've definitely put some mileage on there. Happy to hear you are done for a while and can concentrate on NOTHING for a while.
