Ate there earlier this week. $15 for lunch which included tip. Last time we went through a fast food restaurant it was knocking on $18 for a pretzel bread chicken sandwich, fries and beverage for 2. I would rather do the $24-$30 for EP than $18 for fast food.

Good to hear the wonderful reviews we'll have to give it a try. Lopez has always been our favorite plus it's only a few minutes by golf cart but always looking for a change.

Went to EP last Monday night - we are newer TVrs, second time there. Wanted to try their 2 for $25 petite filet dinners. Service good - but when the entrees came, there was no au jus on the plate. The filet (both of ours) was plain, the mashed potatoes plain, and steamed broccoli. It was prepared nicely and tasty - but a bit of au jus would have capped it wonderfully. When the plates were brought, I asked if they had au jus -No, then asked gravy? - no. She offered A1 or Heinz steak sauce... nope... So the dinner was fine but the steak would have been great if juicier or gravylike on the side - also for the mashed. I mentioned to her again when the -clean/empty- plates were picked up. SHOULD have mentioned it to mgr on our way out, but forgot.
No big deal but, would have thought EP would offer some sort of au jus side for their steak or mashed.

And yes - a bit loud... went to Lopez Sat night - and yikes. Seems as if the groups LOVE to talk as if they are in a BallPark...

Went back to EP this Monday night - we're only 10 min away and wanted a nice dinner. Thankfully the dining room was not crowded -even with Cinco De Mayo - at 7:30.
She tried the Pineapple Teriyaki salmon, me the Shepard's Pie with asparagus. I had a $3 Margarita too. The salmon was prepped perfectly -she HAS to have it medium/rare. Asked for light Teriyaki (watching sodium) the server Tajiri had it out on the side in a small cup. Her entree was great - and good the Teriyaki was on the side -very salty, but dipped a bit into it. My Shepard's pie was so wonderful - the meat was seasoned nicely with lots of corn pieces - the mashed potatoes on top was a bit crispy from a trip thru the broiler (as Tajiri mentioned when describing the dish).
We both ate about 2/3 and boxed the rest for "doggie"...sure... (had the rest last night...). Salmon was $16.95, SP $14.95. Wonderful! And the service was the same.
So, for us - 3rd time to EP - and we will certainly go back. We are happy the TV offers nice dining option at Evans Prairie...

It would help too if people talked in a normal tone instead of screeching to the person who is right across the table.

I have to agree with you on the pineapple teriyaki salmon. It both mine and my husbands favorite meal. The flavor is delicious! We go to EP when we want a better dinner as opposed to some of the other country clubs. It's one of our favorite places to eat. Last year right before snowbird season they changed their menu. I wonder if it's going to change again now that they are gone?
