I don't see any future "idols" in this group but I definitely think Crystal will win. She just seems more confident and a step above the guys.

I agree. At this time the only one I hope wins is Christel. I don't have any opinions for the others

I didn't know you could vote more than once...doesn't it skew the results by casting more than one vote? Wonder if that happened with the Presidential election too!

Idol is a popularity contest! If you want to spend two hours trying to get through on the phone lines, you sure can vote on Idol as many times as you want. And I'm sure a lot of teenagers text.

I thought Lee Dewyze was fabulous last night!

I think Casey is definitely headed home tonight. Golden-boy good looks can only take you so far!

Barefoot, I'm with you -- Lee absolutely blew me away last night. It was the first time I could see why the judges chose him to be one of the finalists. That being said, I can't see any of the finalists being Idols this time around. Crystal will probably have moderate CD sales (think Ruben Stoddard). To me, Casey is worth a drink or two at my favorite bar but not someone I would spend money to purchase a CD or buy a ticket to see. As I said, Lee surprised me last night. Simon truly hit the nail on the head on his song choice for Lee -- it put him way over the top in my book. I'm not convinced I'd buy a ticket to see him as the headline act, but I know I'd be very happy to hear he was the opening act for a favorite group.

So, here's hoping Casey is finally history. Crystal should ultimately win justr because she's been consistently good. I'd like Lee to win just on the basis of his performance last night.

...saying that Casey James has already been eliminated. Page A13-- "James kicked off 'Idol', 2 contestants remain". That's erroneous but right on the money from his performances last night. Unless the hormone voting section of the voters is much bigger than many anticipates.

I think Lee's continued growth every week has won me over. Crystal is a good club entertainer but Janis Joplin is really over! Like others, I don't think we had a Carrie Underwood in the race this year.

I think Ellen's song choice really hurt Crystal last night, even though the judges all liked it. If Simon had picked a song for Crystal, everyone would be swooning over her today! I still think Crystal is the better performer all around, and I'm sure the finale will prove that to be true. Casey should have been kicked off about 5 weeks ago in my opinion.

Now that I know you can vote more than once, I voted three times last night! One for each contestant...that way no matter who wins, I'm happy!

SueS is our TOTV specialist because she is a professional singer!

I have to admit that I liked Ellen's song choice for Crystal, and I loved Simon's song choice for Lee.

I don't understand why the contestants often pick such lame songs for themselves. I mean, Casey James picking "Hello Mrs. Robinson" .. memo to Casey ... you deserve to be voted off!!

I doubt that anyone was surprised by last night's results. I am now having a hard time deciding who is my favorite to win it. All season it has been Crystal, but, after Lee knocked it out of the park with his rendition of Hallelujah, I am having second thoughts. (For the first time, I was even going to download an Idol song from iTunes, but then saw that the only version that they have available is the shortened version that they played on the air.)

Since Lee and Crystal were so good together in the duet, perhaps the best result is co-winners with them making an album together. If they did, I would certainly buy it.

As an aside, does anyone know if there is any behind-the-scenes manuevering going on with the song selections and in particular, the production of the songs? Whereas the two others had very simple productions for their songs, Lee had the full orchestra and a choir. If this was Lee's doing, then he really has a lot of talent over and above just singing.

Default Omg !!!

It should be Crystal's win! She was amazing last night, especially her original song. Lee peaked one week too early.

She's been the one to beat since day one....

Agree! They are both winners, but Crystal has been my favorite since the beginning.
