I love dogs. I hate people that think they have the right to impose their wills and desires on me. To live in the Villages you are supposed to be 55 or over. You would think that by that age you would have learned respect for other peoples property and their feeling. Maybe the Villages shouldn't have an age requirement but a maturity and courtesy clause.

Maybe that person is both. I wonder if he considered that someone "off kilter" enough to hide in the bushes so he can remotely activate his sprinklers is also capable of having a CCW and the poor judgement to use it?

That's rude, but so are the dog walkers who let their pooches go on my lawn. They pick it up, but do they clean the residue left on my lawn. I think not. Your neighbor must be very bored if he/she sits there and watches for dog walkers so he can turn on the sprinklers. Solution: Walk your dogs at the dog park.

The woman in question has dementia and probably should not be driving either a golf cart nor a car to a dog park or anywhere else.

And she is out in the street when the water gets turned on inside the garage by the crappy neighbor and from what I can see online is not having her dog poop and pee on the specific neighbor's lawn.

Hopefully with all the views of this thread some Community Watch as well as some curious retired and active LEOs have read many of the posts on this thread and will hopefully cruise on by.

I have run into many retired LEOS here in the Villages who love dogs and maybe also have parents or other loved ones with dementia or Alzheimers. Pets would be a huge help to patients with dementia and Alzheimers. Alzheimer's Disease: The Magic of Pets | BrightFocus Foundation

Okay RightOn. I’m sure there are lots of cops ready to stake out this guys house and wait for the assault by water and while they are there they can also make an arrest of the person trespassing on his lawn

All it takes is someone to have a frank talk with some of the people in this neigborhood. Targeting someone with what is in essence a water cannon is a crime. And this seems aimed at someone with limited cognitive abilities which makes it worse. Some cell phone captures of this happening would work but why should this be even continuing? The police should have a talk with this couple who are making someone with Alzheimer's and/or dementia life more difficult for no legitimate reason.

So it’s gone from turning on sprinklers to hiding all day in garage waiting for people to come by, to assault by water cannon, what’s next an air strike . Doesn’t anyone think the words stalk and sad make this whole post a little suspect ??

Plus….
OP has not shared if the neighbors have contacted the water shooter, Community Watch, or the county sheriff.
Just came on here looking, for who knows what. Why was it even posted to TOTV?

The bottom line is, keep your dog off of the lawn. Take it to a dog park

I agree as with most posts on TOTV it gets way off the original post a few more and it will morph into masks or not to mask. I hope this post gets political and shut down.
I just wonder how good the lawn is with all that watering does he use a push mower?
