Reminds me of many years ago. I was lost in my air cooled VW. You need to picture the engine sound and the sound of the horn in an air cooled VW. Some dude with his engine big enough for a truck decided to lean on his horn. The guy was so out of control of himself that he turned completely around in his seat to give me the foul gesture. He was so out of control that he did not see the turn in the road. As I passed his car leaking from his smashed up engine. I could not help tooting my VW horn as I drove past him.

Got to the Morse gate on the second leg of the circle and stopped to let the cars on the roundabout take their exits. Someone on the outside lane, heading for the gate, STOPPED in the roundabout and tried to wave me on, while someone on the inside lane of the roundabout was taking their "second or third" exit to the gate as well.

Obviously, I knew it would've been a stupid thing to do, plus the person who STOPPED in the roundabout needed to not stop so I waved him on and remained in place at my stop sign. Meanwhile, there were three cars coming up behind that stopped person, and one of them started beeping.

This guy who was stopped in the roundabout trying to wave me on was blocking traffic. He started to go again, JUST as the guy behind him pulled around and tried to get in front of him.

SO glad I just stayed where I was. Let the pile-up happen, as long as I know I'm doing the right thing and out of everyone's way.
Too many go through visitors gate and block traffic in the roundabout. what’s so hard pushing red button in residents lane? I guess there too lazy to roll down window and reach out. That’s one of the most safu intersections in villages.

Whe I was teenager VW bugs was dime dozen. I wish I had brought 10 of them along with tri-five Chevy’s for 100 bucks or less.

Why would it be any different than any other thread?

I think this thread is about having a red light with a flashing yellow left turn light. That means it is OK to turn left if there is no oncoming traffic.

In my case, I do not turn left. I wait for a green light.

I asked Sumter Police about the the left blinking arrow and they posted this on their Facebook Page. I wish the public was reminded about various traffic laws and best practices

It would be a $300 fine for the stop sign sliders (vehicles and Golf Carts) should law-enforcement get out of the parking lot!

Default What to do

I was told generally speaking when it's yellow you slow to 5 miles an hour or you stop depending on where you are. Yellow generally means to me also you proceed with caution when you can. But you have to remember your safety is in your literally in your own hands. As an example of that in Leesburg oh, there is a blinking yellow light down on Main Street where they're building a new hotel is a rehab for seniors. I have never seen anybody slow down to 5 miles an hour which is the law but they generally continue doing 45 miles an hour and in 20 years I've never seen police patrol that intersection
