I kind of compare it to the newspaper you get under your door when you go on a cruise. You get tidbits of news around the ship and the daily activities. If you want major news you may want to subscribe to a major city newspaper.

The rationale is simply a marketing concept. If TVLSI marketing convinced you as a customer that buying into this community was buying value then you will in turn market TVLSI brand and remain a loyal consumer. If marketing did not and somewhere along the way you as a resident felt that you received less then you expected then you won't market the TVLSI brand. When two people operate on different philosophical levels they will just never agree.

Somewhere along the line you left out the matter of truth. Your argument is like saying objective discussions about Jonestown or Scientology can never happen because both sides are biased. No. There is the obvious truth. And then there are the koolaid drinkers. Does anyone really believe, had the developer done nothing wrong, he would have SETTLED for $40M payout? I mean, come on. I have been here for nine years now. When we lived adjacent to the Odell rec center, I watched them paint the buildings and structures on that property every year. I watched them powerwash the stone fence between our property and Odell. I watched them weed the foundation plantings by the wall and trim them.


As I drive my golf cart just last week, I noticed them repairing a fence that someone drove into and knocked the railing out. I have been watching them remove older manufactured homes in the historic area and replace them with new homes. They paid close to 100k for many and are selling them for 200K. Not really the usual margin. I have watched them see that the common areas are trimmed and weeded and pine straw is added regularly and I see clean streets and areas every day. Pristinely clean. Cleaner than any place I have ever lived or visited. . I have seen the kinds of things they place in new rec centers. Not the usual folding chairs but nicely solid chairs that have been upholstered to match the d�cor, along with expensive and beautiful furniture and accessories that they could have done much cheaper. I could go on and on. No one needed to sue them to MAKE them care for this place and run it smoothly.

IT IS OUTRAGES AND DISHONEST TO USE ANY METHOD POSSIBLE NOT EVEN SHORT OF A LIE TO TRY TO DESTROY THE POA. IT IS DISGUSTING. TO ADD TO THIS THEY WENT ON TO SAY THE POA WAS AFTER MONEY IN THE LATEST LAWSUIT. TAKE THE TIME TO READ IT AND SEE ANYWHERE THE POA WAS TO BE PAID ANYTHING.. JUST PLAIN LIES.

AT LEAST THERE ARE TWO OF US WHO UNDERSTAND HOW THE SETTLEMENT WAS HANDLED. BUT, I WOULD BET THAT THE VAST MAJORITY OF THE READERS STILL BELIEVE THE POA MEMBERS GOT SUPER RICH THRU THE SETTLEMENT AND THIS IS THE REASON THEY FILED THE LATEST LAW SUIT.

What I am saying Warren, is that that nice Republican man, Gary Morse, would probably have done if he weren't sued would be to keep things nice like he had been doing. Even if he was as mean as a snake, it benefited his business to maintain the whole shebang well and keep his customers happy.

Did you know the settlement contained a "non-disparagement" clause and the Developer, Plaintiff and Attorneys were NOT to disparage the Settlement per the COURT ORDER. Sounds good right. Woa, stop a minute. Who was left out of the list? The Village manager/voice of the Developer which is Ms Tutt. She was the one who totally disparaged the settlement in the Daily Sun and the one that forced the POA to respond to the attacks and her (Tutt's) disparagement of the agreement. That should say a lot about the Managers ethics. Ms Tutt could not wait to disparage the agreement since the Developer could not.
Does anyone doubt who helped her to put together the attack in the Sun. Terrible way to disrespect the residents by circumventing the Court Order's and go right to "disparagement" which was living up to the letter of the law but ignoring the "spirit" of the law.

I got it for a year or so and then decided to suspend it because it gets to be redundant. It's no more biased than any other newspaper of a city this size. It's funny when people LIKE "bias" when the bias leans toward their own bias!

When I want to know the nightly Entertainment on the Squares, I look under the Lifestyle menu of thevillages.com

When I want to know the Recreation Schedule in the Sun pullout section weekly, I go to the online version of it at the Sun or at districtgov.org >Departments>Recreation ......etc.......

A businessman that coughs up $40M in a settlement is either guilty of something or isn't much of a businessman. And most think he was a pretty smart businessman.

Reading the Sun is a pleasure after being subjected to rags like the Atlanta Journal and others who are so liberally biased that you want to burn the paper before you leave page one and then when you get to page two you really get upset. The lies through omission are there constantly and the printing as facts items that are not factual gets old. The Sun may be slanted in the other direction but they are part of a small minority.
