When we go for walks, it's typically for 2-3 miles... Fo exercise...

On those walks, she often has the urge to go again... We clean up after her... Just like I see my neighbors do when they take their dogs for a walk...
Sorry, no data amassed. Too much trouble. Just my obsevation of life going on around me here, in TV in general, and in my neighborhood. The descriptions in my previous posts pretty much tell what I see and what stands out and how I interpret those things.
To be fair, there are a lot of good, responsible dog ow ers (yourself included) that do try to respect the homes/yards of their neighbors. Sadly, they blend in with the regular foot traffic and don't leave an impression like the potty patrol.
Actually, I do have one bit of data that you might be interested in. Personal observation on a day, pre-covid and high season. Corner lot with sidewalk. Spent the day at home. Nice weather. Counted doggie "restroom breaks" on our lawn and flower bed. Quit counting at 50. It was just coming up to 3 pm. There was more, but I had stopped counting.
You see, depending on where you live, you may not experience high volume of daily dumping, so it may seem like no big deal. But, I assure you, to many, it is can make you a little disappointed in your fellow man/woman.

If someone's animal defaced your property, you should be allowed to exercise your 2nd amendment rights.

Thanks for posting, although I am sure many would not believe your observations.

Problem is each poster only counts their dog visits to any property as the only visit to that property, posters know or don’t want to admit that lawns are used upwards of 50 plus times, in a day, by each person who walk their dog.
So your corner lot is used Far more than their dog uses their own property.

No wonder their lawn looks great and those corner lots look so sad.

Never against a clueless dog. But a real a-- of an owner? Nah! Not worth the price of the bullet. 😉

Absolutely true. I'd tell you if it wasn't. I even watched one guy lead his dog to the bushes next to the house to dump in the decorative bark so he wouldn't have to clean up. He peered in the window and was so shocked when he realized I was looking back at him, he took off at a very fast waddle, dragging his poor dog, that wasn't finished, down the street behind him. I couldn't decide if I should be furious at the guy, sad for the poor dog, or continue to laugh my a-- off.

I know it is not recommended to use reclaimed water irrigation for vegetable growing, but if what you say is true we should immediately get that water tested and see what we need to do. I doubt that the levels are anywhere near what they are in concentrated dog excrement.
And just where is this massive amount of dog excrement you seem to be rolling around in while gardening?

If my dog (or any other dog I've seen copping a squat on someone's yard, which is typically picked up immediately), does her business, it's no more than 6-12" from the curb...

And it's retention pond water. It comes from the lawns, and street drainage systems. Whenever I mess with my sprinklers, I immediately wash my hands when finished...

I would think you would do the same when gardening...

Agreed, since it is a threat to your life...

Seems someone might be confusing the right to bear arms with the right to shoot people for being jerks. I'm no expert on constitutional law, but I suspect there may be a legal difference in there somewhere.
