Cool.
On the County site.....you are so new, the road is not in. BUT.......I can measure your front property line to the property across the street. Looks like 35 feet. Most roads are 20 feet. I would bet $1, you will have 7.5 feet of grass to the street which is not yours. Which is very normal in TV. Emma Place is not in the County word search tool yet, but you can go to their map. Some streets around you are in the map and you can see the 20 foot road scale. Here is the county link. Home - Sumter County Property Appraiser : Sumter County Property Appraiser Good Luck. Happy Hunting.

One definite fact that this thread points out is that many homeowners dislike dogs defecating on their lawns. No dogs did that in my yard up in New England. Cows, horses, sheep, etc. do not have as much harmful bacteria in their feces as dogs because they are plant eaters. I can tell you one thing, I garden extensively on my hands and knees and I do not want dogs defecting on my grass as I donβt want to be exposed to any harmful bacteria.

Be thankful there are no Canada geese here to speak of, the mess they make is not picked up by anyone and be glad that most dog walkers do pickup after their dogs. If this is not for you don't buy here cause it ain't gonna change.

Most folks, it seems, don't really walk their dogs. They take them out for a "toilet break". Once the dog has done it's business, they head home. Many even drive the dog to the pools or mail boxes for their toilet break. Why walk when you can ride? For some reason though, dogs don't seem to come out when it rains. My dogs didn't seem to care if it was raining when they had to go. As you can see, folks will go to great lengths to try and justify using your yard. Yes, your yard, not public property, not theirs. Yours. Lots of misinformation, obfuscation and even, perhaps, a few outright lies, all to make you think they can do as they please in your yard. In much, if not most of TV, fixtures like street signs, fire hydrants and lamp posts are located in someone's yard. Only authorized maintenance and repair people are allowed to access those. Yet people direct their dogs to those regularly. They are trespassing when they do that. Don't expect them to change their rude and self-serving behavior. But at least we can let them know we disapprove and ask them to, say it with me good people, Keep Off the Lawn. ππππβΊ |

I let my dog out in MY yard when she alerts us that she has to go out... I make sure she STAYS in MY yard when she does that... When we go for walks, it's typically for 2-3 miles... Fo exercise... On those walks, she often has the urge to go again... We clean up after her... Just like I see my neighbors do when they take their dogs for a walk...

So you are saying there is as much harmful bacteria, hookworms, whipworms, roundworms, and tape worms in our irrigation water south of 466 as there is in dog excrement? That is very interesting and would demand immediate action if that were true. I know it is not recommended to use reclaimed water irrigation for vegetable growing, but if what you say is true we should immediately get that water tested and see what we need to do. I doubt that the levels are anywhere near what they are in concentrated dog excrement.
