Educating the crazies to such a technology, as described above, may even deter them from attempting such a horrific mission in the first place.

What do you think?
Thanks for sharing but what about gun control? One of the worse Supreme Court decisions was on the 2nd Amendment. Citizens should be able to own hunting rifles but not assault weapons made for war. These "militia" groups are just gangs of thugs!

What saddens me as 38 year Air Force veteran is to read number of Americans who wo quickly want to give up their freedoms my brothers and sisters sacrificed to protect. In do that all in the name of the all elusive 100% safe feeling.

Also, when are we Americans going to wake up we've lost our moral fibers and fear of God? And, how about what really drove and or caused these youths to actually pull the trigger? This is the problem people, our youth are so misguided with no sense of self responsibilities or morals towards fellow human beings.

As for you gun killers, back off already, it's not the millions of NRA and responsible gun owners who are shooting up the streets and schools.

There are 90 guns for every 100 people in the United States. There are trillions of rounds of ammunition. If guns owners were the problem, you'd know it.

Good Point but having a drone hover over one person that looks suspicious, what about the other hundreds or maybe a couple thousand other people. Also having a drone flying around in a building won’t happen. What ever happened to metal detectors at entrances. I’m sure a drug sensing drone has probably already been thought or to expensive. Everything you said sounds a little expensive & I’m sure they been thought of. Criminals aren’t so dumb that they can’t beat the system, that’s why this kind of a thing is still going on. You might as well go back to letting teachers carry firearms, that idea didn’t go over real good either.

Schools are like airports.........metal detectors are the only real answer...just a sign of the times....they get everyones attention and prevent stupidity outside the classroom, inside is another issue

You obviously do not follow 5he facts on gun control. The cities with the strictest gun control ie NY, Wash. DC, Detroit, etc. have by far the most gun violence and d violence in general. Perhaps a little research on your part is needed before making statements that are not based on fact but your opinion.

First of all, the US military drone was a weapon, as opposed to a surveillance drone. Secondly, the US military drone "mishap" was predictable because they are the US military!

There are not enough police nor strict laws being enforced by the legal system To prevent the acts.
The criminal element will ALWAYS get guns!
Illinois has one of the strictest gun control laws. Has it made any difference? No. Unless the laws are enforced nothing will change.

Cause and effect????????????

As far as New York. If, you know the city, you can buy guns on the steps of the 42nd street library. As it is criminal to own a gun in NY only criminals have guns.

For that matter a gun is a simple device. You can buy everything you need at one of the box stores such as Lowes, Home Depo, Walmart etc.

Crime? More reality, it was worse in the 1920s. Beware, that lil grandma may well be LEGALLY carrying.
Don't know what your point is. The states you mentioned have the most shoutings because they are the most populated - common sense. Criminals have guns because they can purchase them in states they don't have gun laws! "Nice try"!

What saddens me is the presumptiveness of a person who was taught to kill as a profession claiming any special wisdom about morality. We need the military. We need people who are malleable to be trained into being killing machines with no doubts about seeing the "enemy" as subhuman and slaughtering them. But those are not a morality. I think the God you seem to think I should fear said something about thou shall not kill and love your neighbor. I don't recall the apostles being armed and locked and loaded.

People who commit crimes with guns are not law abiding registered, carry permitted citizens - they are criminals will illegal guns. The only way to stop gun crime is stop and frisk! Just like New York City did it and crime went down! We should also be stopping drivers to confirm drivers license and insurance. But that will never happen too inconvenient just make everyone else pay for uninsured and under-insured coverage. Why inconvenience the crooks?

The numbers are several years old so I'm sure they've changed a bit. It takes a long time co collect this type of data. In many US cities, gotten worse .

The most recent school shooting parents bought a 9mm semi automatic for a fifteen year old for Christmas present.
I am very familiar with this issue a work associate bought a 9mm handgun for his 16 year old son outcome was his son killed himself by suicide that stopped the child support payments.
The weapon was not secured the parents are responsible for actions of a minor, also I hope they have a Merry freakin Christmas in jail!
Punctuation Please!!!!!!!!! Geez!!!!!!
