Bet the real estate taxes are fairly low--lots of money spent on the interior--lot & square footage are what counts--don't believe appraisers go inside

The only thing TV is missing is above mediocre restaurants and the one that are above mediocre are IMHO ripoff's for what they offer
Nucky knows the neighborhood we lived in-he was from Florham Park ( I think that is from our meeting in Comcast store) I lived in Chatham 74-88 & Chester TWp 88-95--drop dead beautiful but you could not want to retire in NJ----I was the Morris County co-ordinator for the tax revolt in 92 when we fire Jim Florio Banking more $$ /month than we could ever spend--wish there were restaurants that I would want to go to--remember Sammy's Ye Old Cider House, The Lamp Lighter, The Publick House, Black Forest Inn, Arthur's--that was great dining & Arminio's |

I have seen the house referred to by the OP and listed for $949K. It is a very nice house. I usually don't have a problem with the pricing of new houses by The Villages. But, this house is priced at two times the cost of the house next door to it, and both have very similar views. Also, if you have two cars and a golf cart, you will not be able to park them in the two car garage. All other houses on the street have a two car garage and a golf cart garage. So, I think this house is overpriced, but, I guess someone will buy it.

BTW- it is not a rock, it is "The Full Bean" that is what my old boss used to call it when we got a $1MM cost reduction - we got the Full Bean (I think this was based on the accountants being Bean Counters). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Normally houses are priced by the neighborhood-designers with designers, premiers with premiers--got a designer loaded with lots of fluff price like a premier-its still a designer- we live in a designer -the size fits our life style--- no kids and no visitors

What's been so interesting to me for the past 9 years that we have lived here ....Watching the prices escalate to near, or greater than, what homes up north with both attics, basements and a decent sized piece of property cost!
