I use a phone case from Amazon that allows me to carry my ID and a credit card with my phone. Problem solved. I love living here and love being carded!

When they scan your bar code, your photo pops up on their device screen. That picture cannot be photoshop manipulated because it comes from their own computers.
The concept of "needing the original" is outdated. Allow any method of providing your "number" and they should confirm the picture they get is actually you. More secure and easier for US

That’s funny you bring this up as I recently mentioned to my hubby that we should do this.
I’ve always had a picture of my license and passport on my phone as a backup when traveling.
I was curious if they would accept a picture of our Village IDs at the pools, so now I’m going to do it!!

Perhaps you should read thread and you'll see that "photos" of your ID are not acceptable and the official District Policy is you must have an ORIGINAL ID to use the amenities.

So, allowing people to use the pool who don't have the proper ID is more important?

There are other threads about people complaining that unauthorized people are using the pools.

They won’t take it. Must have the physical I’d with you. I put a card wallet sleeve on the back of my phone case to carry it with me at all times.
2 years ago, in one of the Morse videos, she said that they where working on adding a spot on the villages app to carry your id so you wouldn’t have to carry it with you. Don’t know what happened to that.

I was picking up Guest IDs at the Colony Rec Center the other day. The woman ahead of me had her ID on her phone and the person at the desk told her she needs the actual ID.

My phone case has slots for cards where I keep my drivers license and Village ID which makes it easy to always have with me.
