Some insight from an idiot friend of mine. He’s driving back from golf with me on these windy hilly two land tennessee roads and is terribly tailgating the pick up in front of us. I ask if he always drives like this. He replies, I’m trying to make him go faster.

The truck was going under the posted limit but he apparently was looking for his turn. Still, back off, be curtious, what’s the rush. The life you save may be your own and the auto damage you may cause may also be your own.

Then as I passed him he gave me the stink eye like I did something. We both end up turning s/b on 27 with him tailgating me now. Then as I make a left turn, he had to swerve to the right because he was soo close to me now and then he proceeded to Flip me off like I was wrong for wanting to turn. Not a good look or this business ~ Morgan’s Whole 9 yards. I would definitely NOT hire this company based on this guys action and behavior
You know all 'white' people drive alike! Smh

Correct. Not only that---how often can you make a slug go faster by tailgating? More often they'll get nervous and do something even worse than driving slowly. Most of the time they're oblivious to their rear-view mirror anyway, and for some reason shocked when someone passes them, even though they get passed frequently every time they drive.

Interesting.
Yes. That other person endangered my life, screw them.

It was the Midwest, the ditches are flat and wide. I don't care if he was hurt or not, entirely his doing.

Good job, not.
I wouldn't say I was proud, more like indifferent. I think he was already braindead based on his driving on dangerous roads. Endangering my life and anyone else unlucky enough to be going to work that early.

All evidence to the contrary

I think you're correct.

I reread the thread, my posts and the critical replies thinking I may have misspoke or could have been misinterpreted. Thinking back to the incident and 55ish years later and I'd do the exact same thing if it happened today.

So if that shows my true colors, so be it.

55 years to grow up but would still use the same poor judgement. Peter Pan syndrome?????
