There was quite a bit of shingle debris on lawns here in the Historic area. A pipe had opened up or sprung a leak between two properties near the edge of the road, and water was flowing (not hard, just steadily) down a decline of the yard into their driveway and then back out to the side of their house.

Meanwhile down the same block, Kiley and Lauren were flooded. It was hard to tell how badly, but I think by the time I was able to take a look, it had gone down to around 8 inches over the pavement.

One guy had a sliding 3-panel door covering his carport, and one of the panels had been pushed inward and was leaning up against his car. Another guy apparently had walled up his carport on the sides and made it look like a normal garage. But the wall was clearly not secured to anything, because it was tilting inward - but fully intact, including the side door built into the wall.

Some awnings were down on peoples' yards. We finally got our internet back this morning, but our side of the street never lost power. The other side was out from midnight til at least yesterday mid-day, I haven't checked to see if they're back up yet.

The tower is still up at Orange Blossom CC, and I haven't checked anything further than the Boone Gate.

Got power back this morning 1 AM with Duke Energy.
No storm damage and no debris in yard (no big trees on property).

I am up in Woodbury, about a mile south of 42. Not even a scratch on my place. I went for a bike ride at noon down Buena Vista towards the Polo club. It was mostly palm fronds, leaves, and small twigs on the ground. I did see one lanai where one of the screens blew off, a couple white picket fences on top of brick walls that fell over, and there were two light poles in the boulevard on Buena Vista that fell over but other than that it didn't look bad at all. I never lost power or internet either.

I would like to know what our official rainfall totals were.

Those beautiful live oaks covered with Spanish Moss sure do make a mess during heavy winds.
Same here in DeLuna, south of 44, our huge preserve behind our postal station/pool is a lake now with water almost up to the top of the 8 ft high wall that surrounds it. Wild! We also had some branches fall on several roofs of homes that are next to oak and pine trees near the power lines. Those of us with just two year old landscaping had no damage and very little debris to clean up.

Down the street at WaterLily rec center a huge oak was uprooted and landed on outdoor fitness equipment. That’s a mess!

The new disc golf course on the Hogeye path is underwater again, but even worse than it was with TS Debby. Some uprooted oak trees and/or huge branches from the trees are littering the Hogeye path.

The craziest video I saw though was the Lake Sumter Landing boardwalk being underwater. WOW!

I wish all of you the best in your clean up efforts. Hopefully it’ll be speedy.

don't count on TV to own up to it or back it either.
You haven't been here long enough to make such disparaging remarks.

Wow, we had no loss of power in DeLuna. Just a few flickers. We have SECO.

I have Duke for electricity and Leesburg for gas.

What do other people have?

Is there a map showing the utility providers for each area?
We have SECO for electric, and TECO for gas here in DeLuna, south of 44.

I saw a YouTube video yesterday showing the boardwalk underwater and the gazebo gone. Then a drone video was posted by Papa Pineapples later in the day. Crazy!

Hope you get it fixed because Ins. rates will go up whether you fix storm damage or not!

So sorry to hear this. Ugh. Hope you’re able to get it all taken care of quickly.

I agree with A+ screens, I used them when Ian hit, and we lost several panels in the roof area of the birdcage. I had 3 estimates for replacing the entire birdcage roof area (33 panels) and all were within $100 of each other, but A+ provided a lot more info on the screening and better recommendations.
As I recall I think the OP wanted to do the repair themselves which is why I suggested White Aluminum as i was able to buy screening from them.

You are fortunate to have SECO. With Leesburg Electric power goes out every storm- Helene, Milton, Irma and many other times. When it goes out, it does not come back on quickly. This time we saw how many of our neighbors have generators and realized we need one too so ordered one yesterday. Of course it’s on back order but hopefully it gets here before next storm!

Please.

I am grateful for all of the code being followed in my 12 year old home. The developers are not stupid nor are they unethical.

And The Villages aren't our mother.
