I think they go to bed by 7:00 p.m., too.
Then they can put their trash out at 6:00 before retiring.

I don't sweat the small stuff. Yeah, it's an annoyance, but not a big one in the grand scheme of things. There are a lot of annoying people in he world and some of them live here in The Villages.

I have a bag of food in my freezer for a neighbor who is a snowbird. We put out trash for neighbors, pick up mail, visit them in the hospital, take deliveries, cry with them and rejoice with them...we are friends. If they put their trash out the evening before the trash runs in the morning, I don't give it a second thought. It is just a reminder that they are there and all is well in their world.

Cool

The mystery to me is why people complain about such mundane issues...

There's always something

I agree with being neighborly and helping - that's a given. And putting trash out in the evening before the pickup is a given as well. But .... there is no reason for putting out your trash the morning of the day before the next pickup time after time. It's rude and makes the areas look nasty.

Yes it's minor but makes areas look nasty and another example of people not following the minor rules that are in place to benefit everyone.

Hot, smoldering stinky trash is a problem, especially when animals get into the bags. If we had roll-out designated dumpsters as many cities do, it would be okay to put it out early.

I regularly use my golf cart on the streets on Sunday around noon or 1 pm for a few miles and have never seen garbage bags put outside for Monday morning. I see it beginning around 6 pm and usually take mine out by 10 pm on Sunday.

With all the raccoons, possums, crows, and coyotes in the area, I have yet to see bags torn open in the morning. I find this strange.

Try riding around Gilchrist or Sanibel on a Sunday morning. Lots of folks put their trash out then.

I don't go there! Too far away. I would have to remember my passport, get a visa, and shots.
