This has gone from concern about some guy using the bathroom at the neighborhood pools, to adding some kind of card reader to the doors of the sports pools, to now building rest stops along 466, 466A, Morse Blvd, Buena Vista Blvd and who knows where else. DUH!

The developers can build it, just as they built the public restroom building on Lake Sumter, across from the sales center.

Why is it okay to have non-residents use the pool bathrooms and track in mud where barefoot swimmers come in to change clothes and use the bathroom? Obviously many of you have never tried changing clothes in there after workers tracked in mud on their work boots, and the floors are absolutely filthy with no clean place to stand barefoot while dressing. I've done it and seen that mess many times and it's not right. |

Our amenities fees already provide for the bar code reading of our resident ID cards whenever we enter a neighborhood rec center for any activity in there. The pool restrooms are part of the facility which is not public.

OK it's a Bathroom. You can go into ANY Rec Center to use the Bathroom. The Workers lawn, masons etc. are allowed to use these Bathrooms. Where would you like them to go. Who are we to not allow anyone from using a Bathroom? Contractors clean the pools and Rec Centers at night, so they can't use the Bathroom then either? Guess not many of you have EVER been an outside worker. Are we really the high and mighty? How few people in the pools ever get checked to see IF they belong there? If your in the water you don't get checked. Lighten up a little and give a little kindness to the contractors it might just go a long way. JMO

This is the reason I FEAR that someday we will vote on people to run the villages.
Everyone most sincerely believes that they know what is best for all of us. I hope, hope, hope that nothing changes in my life time.

What are men doing in the ladies' room? I would like to hear how many times, in your former homes and neighborhoods, that you told lawn workers, tree cutters, construction workers, and any other person driving down your street that they could use the restrooms at a neighborhood private pool and tennis club. That is exactly what you are promoting here. Our neighborhood and regional pool complexes here in TV are private, not public! For us, the answer is "NEVER" would we have told workers or whomever to use the bathrooms at the private pool-tennis club a couple of blocks away from us in our former neighborhood in the suburbs. If we had a repair or installation person at our house and they asked to use the bathroom, we allowed them to. But never would we have told the guys outside to go and use private facilities belonging to somebody else. Somehow, they found a place to go, like the gas stations, McDonalds, or wherever else they got their food and drinks. |

Setting the entitlement attitude aside, do you really think it would not cost an extra dime to install and maintain card readers at every single pool in TV?

Is it "entitlement attitude" when executive golf workers are put in place to log in resident and guest ID cards and to collect trail fees and pull-cart fees when playing executive golf courses? Is it "entitlement attitude" when people from surrounding towns who are at Spanish Springs for the night go to Katie Belle's and they're told they cannot enter without a resident ID card? Nobody seems to have a problem with the costs of checking ID cards at those facilities, so why should the pool complexes be open to anybody who comes around and leaves them dirty?? |

Honestly, I have never seen the pool bathrooms dirty and I use our neighborhood pool 5 days a week. I have been to Katie Belles a number of times and never showed an ID.
I truly believe workers using the neighborhood pool bathrooms is a non issue. |
