Port a johns could easily be placed at the many maintenance facilities all over the Villages, the restrooms at the pools are not public, this should have been nipped at bud years ago before it became a common practice!

OK folks, time for a little common sense. There are literally hundreds of pickup trucks with 12' trailers full of lawn equipment in TV every day. Suppose just 8 laborers had need for a toilet at the same time, and they all headed for the public restrooms at LSL. What would traffic look like when all 12 parked there ? What would their fellow workers do when their 10 minute lawnmowing job was completed, and the truck didn't come back for another 1/2 hour ? How many of you would whine about all the extra traffic ? Give these guys a break. They're just trying to make a living. The bathrooms get cleaned daily, and most (I said MOST) pool users don't actually use them anyway.

Right. Pool users mostly pee in the pool, I suspect

Be nice. Share.
No big deal. The folks who build our houses aren't a bunch of aliens and perverts. Well maybe a few, but we have our own homegrown ones too. I say, the most important thing is to keep the adjoining developments from not using our pool toilets. Who KNOWS what they have? I am JUST kidding about the adjoining developments. But what difference is it going to make if we allow someone to relieve themselves in our pool restrooms????? What if, at the end, when we climb the pearly stairs, that the first thing out of St. Peter's mouth is...."ARE YOU THE ONE WHO DIDN'T WANT TO SHARE THE POOL JOHN's in THE VILLAGES? Just look over my shoulder, Gary Morse is holding a big party, and you are not invited. You have to spend five years banging on the potty door before you are let into upper paradise." Think about it.

The developer still owns 95% of the facilities south of CR466, and as the owner, would be the only one to set a policy on the use of these facilities. Once they are turned over to the districts, then residents might have a say in this matter. |

AND may that NEVER happen.

I met a couple who moved down here a short while ago from Murrell Inlet SC . He said it was a wonderful place to live when the developer ran the show. Some years later, the residents got control and it went down hill fast. He said the residents who were elected to run the place had thier own personal agenda and there was a lot of infighting.

![]() It's preposterous and unworkable to expect workers to use the bathrooms at LSL or hold their P all day. Workers would have to start charging more for their time because lengthy P breaks would have to be added into the pricing structure. And who would be the first to complain about that? Have a heart.

I'm trying so hard to understand why people are against workers using the bathrooms. Gosh, it's a bathroom at a pool. I just don't see the big deal here.
